Telltale are a little erratic when it comes to Trophies; The Walking Dead: Season One had a Platinum, but its successor didn't for some reason. As such you never quite know what you're going to get from the company, but fortunately, its all-new Batman series will ship with a silvery-blue gong.
You won't need to do a fat lot to collect it either, as you'll earn trinkets for completing each chapter in the game. There are a total of 30 Trophies to collect β across five episodes β with the aforementioned Platinum popping once you've got them all.
Riddle us this: will you be giving this series a go? Pull out your shark repellent in the comments section below.

I don't understand how Telltale can get away with their platinums. Game of Thrones has one as well. They must have some real pull. It still baffles me that Song of the Deep didn't have one & that one desperately needed one.
@Fight_Teza_Fight As I've written before on this site, they could solve the problem by mandating that all games should have a Platinum.
We'll play it...eventually. Next December when the fifth episode is out.
@get2sammyb I don't know about that. The vast majority definitely should, but then there are those games that are experiences more than anything. Gone Home comes to mind & soon all those VR experiences will be out. Maybe have games categorised into those that qualify for trophies (which would all have plats) and those that don't.
To be fair, completing a LEGO game to 100% takes more patience and dot-chasing than I have
Oh goody this game has a plat so I guess I'll play it now..
Just kidding,I'd play this game whether it had no plat or no trophies at all.I like trophys and if it's a game I really enjoy I'll try my hardest to get the plat but they aren't the reason I play games.Play to enjoy it like the good old days.
@Fight_Teza_Fight The problem is that, while it stays like it is currently, you'll always get the current scenario where you're sitting looking puzzled at a game like Song of the Deep, wondering why it doesn't have a Platinum.
@Mega-Gazz well said, the Lego games are the one series of games that I do enjoy working hard to get the plat..and yeah can sometimes take ALOT of time and patience
Yes will be getting this game. Do I have a problem with easy or hard plat trophies not really. If they scrapped them for every game it would not bother me.
@Grawlog Have you platinumed Lego Marvel? Took me 35ish hours.
I love telltales platinums. I'm at a stage in my life where I get zero time to play games - telltale have kept me interested in chasing trophies. Otherwise I wouldn't finish many games at all.
@get2sammyb I guess so. A change is definitely needed. I imagine games with a platinum trophy also sell better. So its a win-win.
@Grawlog
It's a good thing only fools collect 1s and 0s in a remote database to impress others then. Now what they do for themselves, is an entirely different thing.
@Grawlog "Dodging 200 lightning strikes in FFX? That's takes some dedication and practice and I respect those that do it."
But surely that's the crux of your argument shot - you say Lego games are just timesinks which the platinum will eventually be achieved (that's a fair point) and use an example from ffx of one of the most annoying and grindy achievements on the game which you will definitely achieve if you are willing to spend 3 hours doing it.
To be fair whatever and however you personally grade a game as worthwhile or not, the fact is trophies have been broken for a long time. I'm currently and have been since Xmas playing 1 piece pirate warriors 3. I'm still (as a guess) 8-15 hours off the plat and have only 1 gold trophy to go. I'm completely bored of the game, obtaining that will be my personal greatest achievement in dedicated gaming for the last 3-4 years. But its boring and completely unworthwhile.
Tales of the borderlands or whatever it's called has oneβ¦
tales of BL had too
game of thrones? i cant remember

Lol I only have 11 platinums, 3 of which are from Telltale games
Great strategy to entice platinum hunters to buy the game. lol
I have no problem with Telltale Platinums at all (I have TWD S1 in mine). I think Trophies work best when they encourage playing of the game rather than grinding. I suspect that Telltale's biggest game problem is players switching off between episodes. This keeps them coming back to play.
I just finished Life is Strange and got the Platinum and I think it was a great incentive to explore every inch of the world and pay attention to everything. I got more out of the game by trophy chasing then I would have just playing it through. Was it easier than having to complete the game six times and do silly things to get it? Yep but I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.
Trophies should enhance & encourage gameplay, exploration, power up and playing outside your comfort zone. I hate the kind of trophies that create multiple playthroughs of a game just for the sake of it. Like any game that says to play through every difficulty setting rather than just a setting and hardest.
Also, mp in non primarily MP games frustrate the heck out of me. Tomb Raider Def Edition - only played it this year, got all SP trophies and really enjoyed it then could get no games going for MP to get the remaining trophies.
@get2sammyb Is each type of trophy worth a different amount of Trophy experience? Will my profile level up faster with better trophies such as Gold and Platinum as opposed to Silver and Bronze?
The Evil Within does it perfect imo. It gives you an incentive to play through multiple times in multiple styles & if you want the platinum you are going to have to git gud whilst not having some stupid Naughty Dog type trophy (blow up 2 & a half zombies at 12.15am, the trophy called "Ben's Picnic" ). I really don't understand why Telltale doesn't always do this, I thought maybe Sony told them not to because all it does is add value with trophy hunters, duh.
Please watch the language -Tasuki-
@Rukiafan7 Yeah, the Trophies are tiered, so Gold and Platinum contribute more to your level than Bronze and Silver.
I dislike the mandatory online trophies for getting a platinum. I never bother with those ones. Tomb Raider had so many including one to reach level 60 in multiplayer. Despicable!
@Grawlog don't you point to a doll and show us where it hurts ππ. All butt hurt over other people's trophys. Get a life!
