Titanfall 2's technical test launched on the PlayStation 4 this weekend, marking the first time that Respawn Entertainment's first-person shooter has been playable on a Sony system. While it's free for everyone to try over the next two weekends, we figured that we'd capture some gameplay footage for you to feast your eyes on. Embedded you'll find some direct-feed footage of all three included modes, as well as Alex Stinton's livestream with tons of insight and commentary.

I couldn't find this in the store,I tried Demos and Free to play but not on either.Am I looking in the wrong place?
@Wazeddie22 Try searching 'Titanfall' and you should find it straight away.
@get2sammyb Yep,cheers for that and making me look stupid, that should of been the obvious thing to do lol
Just looks like call of duty. Meh, not interested.
@Dan_ozzzy189 I'm not a fan of COD games in the slightest, but the mechs in this game really make it fun. Give it a shake.
Tried it, good graphics but gameplay too fast and gave me a headache. Already deleted.
Titanfall 2 plays just like the original Titanfall does. The same movement, pace and satisfying combat. The Titans are still great lumbering 'boots on the ground' style that slow the pace down (if you actually get in them) so its not 'hectic' throughout.
My biggest criticism of the first game was not the way it played, the pace etc but the lack of options. Not just in the variety of game-modes BUT the weapons, the customisation etc etc. After playiing through a 'regeneration' (the equivalent to CoD's prestige system), you saw everything the game had to offer, experienced everything the game had to offer etc. Each regeneration just repeated itself over and over again essentially except added some ridiculous challenge to force you to play a certain way (get 200 pilot kills with the worst gun in the game for example). With each regen you lost all progress, attachments etc too - at least with CoD there was always 'something' to keep playing for. Every Pilot was basically the same which didn't allow for much variation in playing style either - At least this has been addressed!
There is a LOT of similarities between this and Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3. It has the verticality and fast paced movement of AW with the Wall Running of BO3 (although BO3 is a bit more deliberate in its movement). The Titans and Maps though are what separate this from CoD.
EA are not 'stupid' for releasing this alongside BF1 as TF2 is the closest competition to CoD. Its fast paced, arcade style is much closer to CoD - even before CoD opted to use Advanced Movement. EA are clearly targeting the CoD audience this year and trying to tempt the CoD audience with a game that's 'similar' to CoD and one that goes back to CoD's routes with a boots on the ground historic war shooter.
I will (almost) certainly be buying TF2...
Just not impressed enough, time to kill is really low for many weapons and it just feels like a fancy call of duty, shallow, repetitive and pretty limited.
tried this game for 2 games only. Soon realised it isn't for me. It is just too gawd damned fast. I've always love fps games but my mind doesnt work that fast anymore. Add to that the fact any high area seems open to all and results in my eyes getting sore from trying to look around too many areas of the screen at the same time. The vertical freedom that I have yearned for years in these types of games has finally came and I can't keep up lol. Ah well
im having withdrawal already!!! Cant wait for october!!! anyone who compares this to cod is an idiot! u might as well say the same about BF and overwatch!
