Where did this story even come from? Over the last couple of weeks, we've seen numerous sites - sites which won't be named - reporting on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition's "expanded story content", even though developer Bethesda has never mentioned, nor even hinted that such content will feature within the upcoming remaster.

Indeed, we're only bringing this up now because the ever informative Pete Hines has shot down one such story over on Twitter. Stating that the article in question is "garbage", Hines has effectively put an end to these baffling rumours - or so we'd like to think.

Remember folks, even though you may really, really want something to be true - hey, we'd always be up for more Skyrim adventures - that doesn't mean it's actually happening.
