Regular readers will know that we're usually not huge fans of CG trailers, but wow, this latest one for Final Fantasy XV is one heck of a ride.
Crafted by animators Digic Pictures, the whole thing's got a fantastic tone to it, and it's really got us eager to, you know, actually get our hands on the finished game.
Hopefully, it can live up to the confidence that this short movie exudes when it launches on the 29th November.

I just watched this on the FFXV YouTube channel. jaws still on the floor! Cannot wait for this.
Very good! Not a fan of the music, "western action game" kind of selection...which is not bad per se but they have awesome music for this game...just use it!
Awesome trailer!Really hope the game is awesome too.
Woo hoo. Noctis is a bad guy!
Really awesome trailer, I'm more interested in final fantasy xv after seeing the kings glaive movie and this trailer.
I've been trying to keep my expectations under control... But it's getting harder as the launch approaches and SE keeps showing how much work and dedication seems to have gone into the making of this game. I'm not expecting a masterpiece, but if the game ends up being good enough to bring back the fascination I've felt for the series since FF7... Then I'd be really really really happy!! Fingers crossed
Square Enix delivers some fantastic CGI as usual. Cautiously optimistic for XV.
Final fantasy 7 arrived on the PlayStation 1 with hype delivered through games mags.
Although we were told before hand what to expect I remember thinking to myself there is much more to this game than a lot of games do not get near.
Final fantasy 15 is going to do the same.
If not this could be the beginning of the end of gaming as we know it.
Looks very cool! Of course it's just a cinematic trailer but... Very hopeful
@b1ackjack_ps Yeah, shaky-cam galore. Gave me a headache.
Sold. I've never played a ff game b4, as I never really liked turn based combat, but this looks amazing. Loved the platinum demo.
Pretty cool, but bring on the reviews I say. Not too fussed about getting it on day one.
Great setting, let's see what they do with the gameplay.... FF isn't known for amazing combat (press x alot to win), but I remember the demo being decent. I'm not expecting Dark Souls or anything, but hopefully engaging. Definitely seems like a likely purchase.
@Mega-Gazz "FF isn't known for amazing combat"
That really depends on what you mean. Your absolutely correct compared to Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta, Dark Souls or most other action games then FF wont stack up, however strategy wise most of the series you can over level and take advantage of the various systems to make things beatable, or you can go down the minimal level no equipment challenge routes - there are literally thousands of strategies and hundreds of ways to play amongst the 12 current single player games. Just because you generally start by just pressing attack doesn't mean its the optimal or most fun way to play. Thats not even considering the optional uber bosses hidden in each game which you simply wont beat by just pressing attack.
Apparently with FF15 I've read that the combat is pretty fun in its own way, with strategy coming the way of weapon choices and team attacks and I'm hopeful that FF15 will retain some of its old identity.
Square Enix sent me an email yesterday saying they will charge my card for the Ultimate Collection; it's really happening. Now I need Ps4 Pro and every spare moment I will spent playing this, can't wait! The video is beyond awesome BTW.
This is absolutely gorgeous!!! A highly anticipated title for me, I can't wait!
