Nioh is out in just a few weeks on the 8th February, but if you're dying to bloody your blade before then, you may want to give the game's final PlayStation 4 demo a shot this weekend. Over the course of the 21st and 22nd January, you'll be able to test your skills in the title's "Last Chance Trial", which is available to download starting today from the PlayStation Store.
Like the game's previous alpha and beta tests, completing the Last Chance Trial will grant you rewards that you can take into the full release - just be sure not to delete your saved data before it launches.
Will you be running back to the battlefield this weekend? Decide on your most effective stance in the comments section below.

I don't play hard games but I'll give the demo a shot just to see the graphics. I played the DooM demo last night, that was a lot of fun considering I hate FPS and being scared. I did of course play on easy to get thru it. Also played the Tomb Raider demo, and that was a lot of fun. I do think I like the graphics and game play more than Uncharted 4 but Drake is still a better character than Lara.
Good to see demos making a comeback, they were few and far between the last few years on PS3. PS3 does get a lot more PS+ 1 hour trials than PS4, hardly any on there. Every PS4 game should get a 1 hour trial as snazzy as the new OS works. Or at least a demo. Haven't seen demos for Knack, inFamous 2nd Son or Killzone.
Only two days? Not sure if that's enough for me to beat the mission to earn the rewards.
If you delete the demo it also deletes the save file?
The game can't come out soon enough. It should keep me busy until Bloodborne 2 drops.
The name "Last Trial" certainly resonates after completing the Alpha and Beta demos. For those wanting to complete the demo and worried about time - make use of summoning higher level players to help with the tougher parts. For the summoned players, they receive a reward for completing the level, so are incentivised to make sure you do well!
@AlejandroMora You just need to keep your save data mate.
I struggled to like the beta but I want to give this game every possible chance because it looks so cool. While I predicted that Bloodborne 2 would be at PSX it was probably unlikely Sony would announce it since it's publishering Nioh which is going after the same demographic.
It may sound stupid but I don't wanna ruin my first blind playthrough with a demo. There's only a thing I'm wondering about and I'd like to know if some of you already tested it: the game using front buttons for attack means you can't move the camera and attack at the same time (as in Monster Hunter)? Does it mean you play always locked on the nearest enemy? Can you choose a Souls-like control setting? Should I just stop asking and play the demo?
Only game that's coming out in 2017 I actualy am looking forward to, not getting it on launch tho, not when it will be half price in a few weeks.
It had to be the same weekend as Gravity Rush 2.
Downloading - I want to like this game, because its out on my birthday But from what I've seen and played it's not doing it for me.
Downloading it, hoping it will not be as frustrating as the beta.
Was the original game good? Worth a go before I play this one?
