Left Alive is a mysterious new PlayStation 4 game from Square Enix, announced during Sony’s TGS 2017 press conference earlier today. The game is being produced by Shinji Hashimoto, who’s perhaps best known for trolling the PlayStation fanbase in the inaugural PlayStation Experience showcase.
More excitingly, the title is being directed by former From Software producer Toshifumi Nabeshima, and will feature character designs by none other than Yoji Shinkawa. Yes, that’s he of Metal Gear Solid fame.
There’s very little word on what the game actually is at the time of typing, but there’s some speculation that it may be a spiritual successor to Front Mission.
Update: The game is being officially described by Square Enix as a "survival action shooter".

Could be GOOOOD
Going by the trailer alone I wouldn't be interested, but the people involved makes me think there's going to be more to it. Curious to see more.
Please don't be a FFXV expansion...
Survival action shooter, so spiritual successor to parasite eve?
WOW that picture is Very original MGS. I LIKE
LOL I was looking at the picture and thinking "wtf is this mgs knockoff"
I like reveals that leave you wanting to know more. I dislike them when they give no reason to have any interest.
Yoji Shinkawa, another one of my favourite game artist.
