Inazuma Eleven Ares will mark the franchise’s first release on a PlayStation platform when it launches in Japan this summer, and to celebrate developer Level-5 has released the first footage of the anime-infused footie favourite. In addition to some general exploration gameplay, the video also includes some on-pitch action, including some David de Gea-esque last-ditch saves and various silky skills that would make Messi impressed.
There’s no word on a Western release for this one yet, but it’d be a shame if it didn’t dribble overseas, wouldn’t it?

This game looks awesome , so after rewatching the trailer I'm getting a Persona type feel not bad.
I don't watch the anime but I quite enjoyed the game on 3DS...so this is looking cool!
Anyway....SOCCER? What is this.................
Looks batshit crazy but colour me interested.
Tbh, this looks sweet ^-^
I loved the 3ds games, really hope this comes west
Shaolin Soccer action game! I want it!
I did not play any games but the anime was very cool so maybe i will try in future
@AFCC I heard it's like the real game, football but your made to play in just socks and nothing else....at all. I may be wrong tho. 😂
@Kidfunkadelic83 oh makes sense!
Gotta be the most ridiculous word they ever invented x)
I'm hoping there is an English translation on Switch at some point. Whether its EU or USA I don't care.
I loved the anime and on 3DS. Huh? First Monster Hunter world and now Inazuma Eleven. Imagine Zelda or Mario running on PS4/PS5... Ah one can dream!
@bbq_boy Zelda and Mario are both first party Nintendo games, so I doubt they'll ever become available on PS4.
Yes I know Crash Bandicoot is coming to Nintendo Switch, but that's a rare exception, plus that series has been on other Nintendo platforms before.
I don't think it even counts as first party anymore now that Activision has the license.
