Remedy, the developer of games like Max Payne and more recently Quantum Break, will officially reveal its next game at E3 2018 in a month and some change. The title – which is dubbed Project 7 and is being published by 505 Games – is set to deploy on the PlayStation 4, marking the Finnish firm’s first release on a Sony system in well over a decade.
The game itself is due out next year, and press will apparently be given a “hands-off” look at the release in action at the big convention. No other details have been announced at this stage, but we’re sure that this will be one to watch – especially if you’re a big fan of story-driven, single player campaigns.

Alan Wake was one of the better console exclusives on the 360. I don't care for their other games, though.
It's great to see Remedy back on Playstation, the last game they released was Max Payne 2 on PS2, right?
I really enjoyed Alan Wake back on the 360. I thought it was genuinely spooky in parts.
good to read that SP part.
hoping it will focus 100% on the SP.
"published by 505 games"
Uh-oh.
Quantum Break had a little too much focus on telling a story instead of playing a game. Hopefully this is a little closer to alan wake as far as balance, that game was perfect narration would end and a guy would immediately be swinging an axe in your face.
I loved Alan wake and enjoyed Quantuk Break but have always felt that their type of game would find a better audience with PlayStation and their single player focused titles
@teatimed That’s my exact sentiments too! Loved Alan Wake and Quantum Break and am looking forward to seeing what Remedy’s new game is.
I think I'd have enjoyed Quantum Break but it wasn't worth getting an Xbox for
As long as they have the same type of sound track as Alan wake. That was probably one of the best I have ever heard
Hopefully we'll get to play it before e3 2028.
Is it Alan Wake 2? I really need to know how he made it out of the darkness.
Alan Wake was one of my favorite games of last gen and while Quantum Break wasn't quite as good as I had hoped it was still a fun game and would have liked to see a sequel. The games have to sell well to get sequels though. Hopefully a wider audience will help Remedy.
@KratosMD I've also never played Max Payne, Alan Wake, or Quantum Break. Please be sure to let us know what you think of the games in my currently playing thread.
I’m liking the Alan Wake love on show here...no. 1 game of the last gen and I’d dearly love to see a follow up. An exclusive Alan Wake 2 is the only thing that could possibly motivate me to pick up an XBO!!
Wait is this a PS exclusive? If it is then wow that's a big F you to Microsoft
Is the Alan Wake IP owned by MS?
