Sony Bend has uploaded some new screenshots of Days Gone to its official website, and the title is looking pretty tasty as it edges closer to launch. The images mostly focus on protagonist Deacon St. John laying waste to Freakers, but there are also shots of him riding his hog and just generally running around.
Our guess is that this game is almost finished now, as it was originally scheduled to launch during the holidays, but the platform holder delayed it due to the crowded release schedule. Hopefully that means the developer will have ample time to apply plenty of polish – it’s already looking beautiful, but it’s got a lot of competition on 22nd February, so every little helps.

Can't wait for this , so far the only game I'm getting in Feb . Should have more than enough time to beat KH3 and do the extras.
''Hopefully that means the developer will have ample time to apply plenty of polish''
That's what I'm hoping for too. There's a lot of AI on screen, so I can imagine that this game needs all the polish it can get.
Looks awesome.
that's great to know Sony Bend almost finish this so they gonna tweak and polish it.. please tweak ai enemies more smarter.. ai enemies look dumb in snowy gameplay video where the infected bear came at ending of gameplay video.. By the way, When can i pre-order this ? no wondering why Sony Bend taking too long to announce pre-order details yet
Is undead the correct term to use?
I'm really liking the look of this...
so.many.games.coming....
This is one of my most anticipated games, really hope they announce a collectors edition with a statue of Deacon.
Can't wait!
The game is looking really great. The only thing is that it could be a bit more colorful, like in the screenshot showing the fight against the red jacket raider.
@OmegaStriver
You can use "Mortally Challenged" XD
Am I the only one that remembers Sony Bend literally said the reason they delayed release was due to them wanting to polish the game to compete with the other amazing titles Sony's first party developers have been releasing? They said this around God of War launch.
I havent kept close tabs on this game so maybe more info has cone out, but I think author may have been speculating when he said crowded release schedule. Fair speculation. There are some really awesome games coming out so pushing the release does actually make it a more likely day one buy for me.
