PlayStation VR is arguably at its best when it’s immersing you in fascinating fantasy worlds, and Torn seems to have that down to a tee. Created by Aspyr Media and written by BioShock veteran Susan O’Connor, this unsettling adventure through an abandoned mansion has been inspired by the Twilight Zone and Black Mirror.
“Our goal was to create a virtual reality tourist destination for science fiction fans, where players could immerse themselves in a strange world with even stranger machines,” a PlayStation Blog post explains. “The Torn mansion may be abandoned, but the doors aren’t exactly closed.” The game's due out on 28th August.

I once met the bloke in that Natalie Imbruglia music video when I was buying a pint. Impossibly good looking.
One of my favourite pop songs that.
This does sound promising. Another reason I really wanna get PSVR at some point this year
So is anybody lieing naked on the floor in the game?
Just got back from Dave and Busters. So many games I'd like to see in PSVR. My kids had the most fun playing Luigis Mansion, but anything fun and colorful works for me. But no, all we keep getting good are dark horror games. 😛
I’m thinking of the rock band Creed they have a song called torn. It’s a classic rock song! Love this song and look forward to the game.
@roe Really tempting for me as well. I'm just holding off until Media Molecule Dreams provide more information on the VR mode of the game.
