October 2018's PS Plus Games Are Available to Download Now

It's the first Tuesday of the month, and you know what that means. PlayStation Plus has been refreshed, and October's new lineup is now ready for download in Europe. North America hasn't quite caught up yet, but the new Plus games will follow shortly.

As a reminder, the headline games this month include Friday the 13th: The Game and Laser League on PS4, but current gen gamers can also download 2064: Read Only Memories and Rocketbirds 2: Evolution. You can also download these on PS Vita if you're still rocking Sony's handheld. Meanwhile, PS3 owners can go ahead and add The Bridge and Master Reboot to their download queue.

Isn't the bridge for PS4 and Vita as well? Did Friday 13th get any better heard it was a horror show (pun intended) at launch.

I still think it was an awful idea to make friday the 13th the free game so quickly after dead by daylight...

I'd like to throw in a recommendation that anybody who still has their ps3 hooked up give Master Reboot a go. It is very spooky and the story is surprisingly good. I played it to death like 4 years ago but I might go for the trophies as an excuse to do so again.

@Kidfried most of the news are found on resetera forum but you can always put that as your source for example news about Witcher author asking for 16 million dollars and news about Harry Potter game come from resetera, even though they may be poster from somewhere else on that forum but noone has so much time to visit all the possible sites so, wah, tl Dr is resetera

I wish I knew how sony compensated devs/pubs for these games. Lump sum? Per unit payout? Maybe both? Would love to know more about that side of things.

@sonicmeerkat I imagine Sony have publishers queuing up to be one of the free monthly games and I doubt they are rewarded at all aside from the exposure. I guess if there's DLC they can make some sheckles from that. Any ideas @getsammyb?

Ooo, 2064: Read Only Memories does look rather good, almost missed that, cheers all for pointing it out! This is a really good month for ps+. Looking forward to playing Laser League too.

Erm, anyone know how I download Rocketbirds 2 oo the Vita only no-one seems to have updated the store? It's almost as if Sony are trying to deny all existence of the little handheld! Can I do it from the PS4?
