Well, then. Media Molecule promised a celebratory LittleBigPlanet live stream today, and it showed off LittleBigPlanet. Makes sense, right? Well there’s a twist: this has been recreated entirely in Dreams. It looks identical, right? That’s because it is: the floaty physics, the papercraft art direction – you can even bring up your Pop-It and change the look of your Sackboy.

This is perhaps the most insane demonstration of Dreams’ potential so far – the end result is indistinguishable from LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation 3. The developer dives in to some of the programming later in the stream and it’s complicated stuff, but it just shows what’s possible with the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive.
