Sony’s generally been very good this generation at taking its titles on tour just prior to release, and Days Gone is the latest PlayStation 4 exclusive to get a global blowout. All around the world, the platform holder is hosting events showcasing the Bend developed open worlder, with critics able to get hands on with the near-finished version of the game.
Events are being hosted internationally, with the title currently on display in Asia and America. It’ll then rev its way overseas, and we’re probably allowed to say that we’ll be going hands on when Deacon et al arrive in Europe very soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the game that you’d like us to investigate, drop them in the comments.

This game has the air of the order 1886 around it, I'm almost certain it won't be that bad, I doubt they'd be hyping up this game if it was garbage. Hopefully it'll be a lot of fun, that's all I ask.
This game about to be the biggest surprise on ps4 this year.
New previews for days gone supposed to be droping in early march.
hopefully there's a demo.days gone is my most anticipated games this year.word up son
I’m seriously looking forward to this game, and to reading Push Square’s preview....fingers crossed that it turns out great.
I predict meta score of 89 .word up son
I am looking forward to this!! I am expecting it to be one of my favourite games of the year - based on the games that have been given official release dates thus far!
@playstation1995 more like a 80 -85.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi
Bad?
The Order was great!
Also, just saw a post that the guy's name is 'Deacon St John'?! is that right? Could be worth playing for that!
@BAMozzy I agree.what do you think.meta score.i believe a 89 for days gone.word up son
@playstation1995
Meta score will be 50-99 and the devs will upload a reaction video while reading PushSquare comments. Word up son!
@playstation1995 I don't know to be honest. I would probably say 80-85 on metacritic if the game runs as well as we are all hoping it will run. It has the potential to be higher than that but also the potential to score lower. I never like predicting scores as there is a lot of unknowns and all we have had is 'hints' at the story, snapshots of some of the gameplay elements and the fact that it seems to be quite a dynamic world, reviewers could have very different experiences depending on the weather, time of day or even what they have done previously in certain areas could all affect how they approached certain missions/objectives and what they experienced.
We don't know if the story will end up being an emotional rollercoaster, that we become immersed into that world and feel everything or whether it ends up being quite generic and dull. We don't know whether fighting those hordes over and over again becomes tedious or exhilarating and tense - especially if you stumble into one unprepared.
There are too many variables that are unknown to us and unlikely to be until we get our hands on the game and/or the first reviews come out. As a new IP too, that also doesn't give us a baseline, any prior games to go by and base an expected or educated guess on a metacritic score.
In part, I picked 80-85 as a ball-park range and quite generic score for a decent open world single player game and a Sony exclusive that some see as a Last of Us wannabe or yet another 'zombie' game rather than any expectation or prior knowledge specific to this. I could well be better than this, maybe worse too but I wouldn't be surprised if it falls between 80-85. I would hope for more and be a bit disappointed if its less - not that it will change my mind on my Pre-order.
@JJ2 😄 hahaha word ☝ son
@BAMozzy fair enough days gone and sekiro are my most hyped .cant wait for code vein also .animated souls .word up son
If I had one question I guess it would be.. how long has it taken to create this game? I know I seen the 1st preview about 3 years ago and I guess a lot if work had gone into it before then? I know nothing about game development but enjoy playing them. How big is the team? And if each person on the team does a 35 hour week how much time has that translated into. Probably a nerdy question but it would satisfy my intrigue... this is probably my most anticipated game ever... and I’ve been gaming for probably around 40 years... thanks!
Sony seem to be really confident In days gone. Sony is treating days gone like a A tier game like they did god of war and horizon and spider man which is great. Days gone is a day one for me I hope it do well Sony bend really do need a hit under their belt.
Yeah..ask them about cities they mentioned it a while back but nothing since
@BAMozzy @Bad-MuthaAdebisi the people who see this as a last of us wannabe are blind
@KALofKRYPTON the order was great 😂
@jly1987 I don't deny it. However, all you have to do is look at the comments section of most 'Day's Gone' video's and a fairly large percentage do seem to think that this is a Last of Us wannabe with a 'similarly' bearded white male, 'zombies' (even though neither has 'zombies'), scavenging for 'parts' and a 3rd person perspective.
I can see the point of view on that BUT that doesn't mean the games are so similar that its not worth playing this because you have LoU and will buy LoU2 when that finally releases. There is so much more that is different and its predominantly those differences that I am most excited for - the reason I pre-order the Special Edition version...
Already got the digital deluxe edition pre-ordered, collectors edition pre-ordered and the survival edition pre-ordered.
You could say I am excited for the game April hurry up already.
