There was a rumour going around earlier in the week that Overkill's The Walking Dead had been cancelled on consoles. The shooter released on PC at the back end of last year, but it was largely hammered by both players and critics. Because of this, it was delayed indefinitely on PS4.
However, publisher 505 Games says that it's still coming, batting aside the rumours of console cancellation. "We just wanted to clear the position on the Overkill’s The Walking Dead on console and confirm that the game has not been cancelled, purely postponed whilst development is on-going. We will share further news as soon as possible," reads a tweet from the company.
That's cleared that up, then, but it still doesn't give us any idea of when Overkill's The Walking Dead will arrive on Sony's system. "As soon as possible" could mean anything.

Why issue refunds then? 🤔
lol no thank. this game is pretty bad on PC version that came out last year in November or December. Can't wait to play Days Gone on April 26 : two months away from now. hopefully The Last of Us 2 coming out this year : October or November
Wouldn't be missing much if it was cancelled.
@daveofduncan Could have just been some sort of error, or maybe even the knock-on effects of a change to the game's listing on the PlayStation Store. Hard to say.
Its not on my watch list - yet...
I am not a fan of the TV series - just never started watching it and therefore not overly interested in the game. If the game releases to rave reviews and not necessary to have watched the TV series, I may change my view on it but right now, I couldn't care less about this postponement. Its not like I am starved of games...
I was hopeful for this, but from what I've heard of the PC version, it's barely worth them continuing unless they're going to take it back to the drawing board and - essentially - release a different game.
With the likes of days gone, tlou2, dying light2, etc on the horizon this just seems pointless
What kind of game is this? I know its a zombie game, but is it co-op, mp, sp?
