Update: Yep, the leak was right, Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a meaty collector's edition complete with enough bits and pieces to satisfy even the most mechanical of metalheads.
CD Projekt Red has uploaded its own unboxing of said collector's edition, and we've embedded that above. It comes with a big old box, a figurine, a map of Night City, the game's setting, a cool looking artbook, a car keychain, a game compendium, a steelbook case for the disc itself, a survival guide, a whole bunch of stickers, and, of course, a copy Cyberpunk 2077. Again, pretty meaty.
If you don't fancy splashing the cash on the collector's edition, then it's worth noting that the standard edition also comes with the map, stickers, and a few other little things. What's more, Amazon has an exclusive steelbook version in the UK, which you can find below.

Original story: Seemingly another casualty of the big Bandai Namco leak that happened earlier in the week, it looks like this is the collector's edition for Cyberpunk 2077. As you can see, it comes with a statue, an art book, and loads of other bits and pieces that are a little more difficult to make out. Looks reasonably legit to us, though, and it's inline with what we saw of the standard edition, which also comes with some extra goodies. If it turns out to be fake, then it's one hell of a good job.
It may be worth mentioning, however, that Bandai Namco is only publishing Cyberpunk 2077 in Europe, meaning that the North American collector's edition, published by Warner Bros., could be different.
Do you like the look of this? We should get official confirmation of all things Cyberpunk 2077 very soon, as the Xbox conference kicks off in just a few hours.

Well the game can't be far off if all of this is getting ready
it all looks nice but no doubt it will cost an arm and a leg
If these are legit then I'd definitely expect to hear a release date in the next few days.
Why is there a statue of Mac from It's Always Sunny?
If they release a Steelbook version with the Artbook and any DLC bonuses, I will pre-order it straight away. I don't really want the Statue so I am not paying £150+ for that version...
we are looking at Fall 2019 or early 2020 release date at best.
may be feb 14 2020
@ApostateMage I knew it reminded me of someone!
@Gatatog If not in a few hours time at Microsoft's presser
Is the male V canon? They seem to be using him in the marketing.
@HailHydra97 April or May 2020.. TLOU 2 release February 21 or 28
@BearsEatBeets Now that you mention if, if there's anywhere it'd be announced, that would be it.
I wonder if this will have a super awesome mini game like The Witcher 3 had with Gwent.
Is that a Max Payne on Kaneda's (Akira) bike statue? lol
@LieutenantFatman HoloGwent
@BearsEatBeets I would play this.
Another reason for SONY not to care about E3.
By the time you get to your turn. People already read it on the Internet with pictures and everything.
These leaks get as much reporting as the actual show. Anyway... this game is looking like a buy
November 2019 I bet
Nope, I was hoping for the E3 2018 statue of the female with mantis-blades.
@LieutenantFatman I didn't even think of that. I'm sure this game will have a Gwent equivalent!
Ooooooooh 2019?
I would prefer for the marketing to be split like Ass Odyssey's Kass/Alexios and FemShep/BroShep. Then again, from CDPR, I'm not surprised.
There's no room for collector's edition except that sweet sweet baby in a jar!
@Neolit Whats there too choose the Last of Us 2 without a doubt but thats me. 😁
@JohnKarnes That one looked so much better. 😔
@ShogunRok The clear pictures and info for this is on cyberpunk.net now. The collectors edition just says coming soon unfortunately.
@BearsEatBeets Thanks for the heads up!
@Splat The game cover is reversible, plus the first gameplay was of female V. Maybe they will use male V for trailers and female for gameplay reveals.
Tired of looking at blurry images on these articles. All I can tell is you get a game and a statue, the rest of the stuff is just shapes.
Updated with the actual CE.
It's a Game exclusive, costing an eye-watering £250

@BubbaJai yeah I noticed that, don't know why Game gets all the special editions, it's a shame you can't buy it direct from CD Projekt. I'm on the fence about getting it but know it will probably sell out soon.
@ShogunRok Secret message in the vid:
Finally, after months of preparation, we can share with you two big things we have been hard at work on — CP2077's cinematic story trailer and a brand new gameplay demo! Yes, yes, we know — for now, the demo is only available to the lucky ones who managed to get tickets to E3 and the rest of you will have to wait until gamescom or the public dev Q&A unveiling stream at PAX in August. Yeah, we can already feel the bashing you're gonna give us online . "Why are you not treating us fair", "why is the gameplay not being released right away?". The reason is we want to make the most out of the months of work we put into the demo and first showcase gameplay live at E3 and gamescom. Releasing gameplay right away would make the gamescom presentations pointless and would significantly limit our chance to build hype. Why do we need to build hype? To get more gamers interested in CP2077 and, hopefully, convince them to give it a go. We are putting our hearts and souls into making CP2077 a great game and we would like as many gamers as possible to find out about it and experience its amazing story. Also, hype can turn into sales (after all, we are not a charity), and good sales allow us to grow, take creative risks and deliver new, great games for you to enjoy.
And let’s not forget about one more super important announcement — the release date. Less than a year from now, on April 16th, 2020, you’ll finally be able to sink your teeth into Cyberpunk 2077.
As you probably noticed, we prepared 2 editions of the game. Why only two? Because when we pre-order ourselves, we don’t like to go to Wikipedia to compare content. We have a simple deal: there’s the standard edition, the one we think most gamers will choose, and a limited Collector’s Edition. While we're pretty proud of the CE, we'd like to turn your attention to that first one. Why? Because we have really maxed out the physical capacity of the box with goodies. We think this raises the bar for "standard" and we hope you'll think so, too. Also, since pre-orders are live, you might be wondering if there’s any point in placing an order now. Yes, if you want to give us some extra support. Pre-orders help us build anticipation — the more copies you pre-order, the more likely it is for us to get retail (both digital and physical) behind the game. Therefore, if you like what you see, we will appreciate you "voting yes" for CP2077 with a pre-order. If you are still hesitating though, we would rather you wait for more materials or reviews. Our goal is for you to truly enjoy CP2077 and not regret a pre-order.
Take care and looking forward to seeing you in Night City!
CD PROJEKT RED team
@BearsEatBeets I've just been taking a look at this, but thanks for the heads up. That's one hell of a secret message!
I'm not into that statue. If we could get an edition with the book, maps and artwork only then I'd be pre-ordering. I'll just be 'Chippin' In' for the basic edition.
The cover should totally be the girl with the mantis blades. Looks epic.
