Sorry, but Dreams is probably the coolest game on PlayStation 4. Every now and again, we spot something so impressive that we can't help but share it, and it feels like that's happening a few times every week. The creative tools Media Molecule has provided are incredibly powerful, allowing players to make anything they want using a DualShock 4 and a console. It's pretty mad.
But you know all this. The point is, we've spotted this Reddit post, and it's amazing how quickly people are getting to grips with Dreams. Below, you can see someone's fully working Spider-Man web swinging demo. The webs shoot from the character's hands, attach to the nearest building, and the character swings like a pendulum on the web.
It might not look all that impressive, but having tinkered with the tools ourselves, we can safely say this is some brilliant use of the game's gadgets and logic. And they made this in three hours? Give them a few days, and imagine what it could look like.
Dreams, guys.

OMG WITCHCRAFT!!!!
@Quintumply Wow... 3 hours?!
It's great, but it isn't nacho dunking though is it?
@KALofKRYPTON
Snacks on a Train is still in the works! Watch this space!
I believe there's also a playable Spider-Ham demo with similar web physics.
Looks neat though.
Later on down the road...
"Guys. Somebody made Dreams in Dreams."
You’re posting a lot of articles but the community here at least don’t seem too buzzed on it. Seems like it’ll have a small but passionate fan base.
@kyleforrester87 Pushsquare needs to publish 5 Sega Mini console articles per day, that's what all the cool kids are talking about.
I haven't' booted up Dreams since the day I bought it and spent a couple of hours playing other peoples creations but I'm still excited for it. Keep posting the articles.
Or better yet. Didn't sammy do a once a week round-up of cool LBP levels? I'm pretty sure most of the ones I played I learned about here. Maybe try going that route again, every Friday, or Monday, or Wednesday, list some levels.
Here's a couple of articles from 10 years ago (ok 9 years and 11 months) back when sammy was young and excitable and still cared about E3.

Here's one from 5 years ago. Still not a weekly list though, maybe I just imagined it?

@rjejr PS can publish as many Dreams articles as they like, certainly doesn’t bother me, it’s all good. I can’t help but notice the response in the comments section isn’t buzzing, is all. I don’t see the game doing very well commercially as and when it releases fully.
I'm hyped for Dreams but it's still really early days. People are showing some really impressive stuff so far but I think it'll take a while longer for the community to get the grips with it all and start putting out fully realised levels / experiences. Give a it a few weeks and I reckon we'll start seeing some really fun stuff.
Take that really impressive Star Wars level that was shown off recently, incredible graphics, but no real depth... yet. These things take time, they've got the foundations set, now if they want to they could make it really engaging and start adding in some plot and events, etc.
@kyleforrester87 Nobody seems to care, do they? Can't decide if that's b/c the PS readership is all old and jaded, b/c Mm announced this game 6 years ago at the PS4 reveal and we're all ready for PS5 now, or three LBP games was enough of this sameness.
It does kind of look like a mobile app game for creative kids who like to play w/ 3D pens. Not a game for GoW, GTAV, CoD, RDR2 and Spiderman players.
That's a lot of headwinds.
It was more impressive before they removed the puddles.
Pretty neato. Soon we'll have Marvel Spiderman 2 in Dreams before Insmoniac has the real sequel out.
I was more impressed by the running animation.
Looks fun to play around, I’ll play it later tonight
Nope. It does nothing for me. Not even prompting a snarky remark. Sorry fellas
This reminds me of the early days of youtube. The first youtube videos were primitive but it revolutionized the industry. Glad Sony is investing in Dreams and not the 100th sequel to Mortal Kombat, Fifa, or another zombie game. Just wait till it gets PSVR support- a true revolution for Sony.
@rjejr You do know the game is still in "early access" right?
@rdchili96 Yes I do. Why, do you think all of a sudden when they announce early access for $30 is over and they release the full game for $60 all of a sudden people are going to be playing and talking about Dreams non-stop?
While I suppose that's a possibility I think the majority of people who were interested in getting the game full release at $60 already picked it up for $30. And I think the majority of people who comment on this website regularly really dont' care all that much about Dreams, they'd rather talk about Ghosts of Tukishima and TLoU2.
I cared about Dreams. It was my most hyped showing during the PS4 reveal 6 years ago. But that was 6 years ago.
