It’s a rainy Saturday morning, and we’re stuffed like sardines into a train. But nothing’s going to stop the WAYP party this week, so let’s quit with the unnecessary preamble, and get down to business, shall we?

I've got my thinking cap on this weekend, as I strategise the best way to tackle Wargroove ahead of my review. Spoilers: I'm enjoying it a fair bit, but it's pretty tough. If I get time, I'll also carry on playing Detroit: Become Human, which is proving to be an excellent addition to PlayStation Plus.

I'm on the very last chapter of Judgment, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it concludes this weekend. It's easily one of my favourite games of the year so far. Elsewhere, I'll be finishing up my review of Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which you can look forward to reading for yourself early next week. It's going to be an interesting one.

I'm away visiting family, so I'll be gaming on PS Vita again, but I'll return to Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition this weekend. I've completed it a number of times, so I can jump between different sections in this retro cinematic platformer, and I'll possibly head straight to the last part in the Palace.
It's a short but sweet WAYP this week, but we're all feeling pretty drained from the heatwave. Have you got the energy left for games? Let us know in the comments section below.

Oblivion on my gf's Xbox 360. I forgot how great the game is. Going for all the achievements again is pretty fun.
Going to finally get the platinum for Rayman Legends today (damn challenge mode), then probably Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
I’ve picked back up my sojourn through alternate history with The Council. It’s a janky game but it’s got some unique gameplay ideas. If only the voice acting was even remotely decent it could have been a really good game. I want to see it through to the end though, if I can stand it.
Other gaming for me this weekend might include Marvel’s Spider-Man or some Rayman Legends.
strength in numbers arisen.dragon dogma is so great.especially as a wizard/sorcerer. this game have the best magic in any games ever.word up son
I'll be continuing my second playthrough of Dragon Quest XI which is fabulous darling. Mix in the usual Red Dead Online and GTA Online and my gaming weekend is sorted.
I started Elder Scrolls Online the other week but I'm just not really getting into it. In fact it's just made me wanna fire up Skyrim again.
Doom (Switch) - I finally found a great combo that works for me online, so loads more TDM this weekend.
Killzone: Mercenary (Vita) - Getting back into this now that my friend also has it.
Microsoft Flight (Games For Windows) Still on a Let's Play.
Mirror's Edge (Windows Phone) Still on a Let's Play.
Panzer Geekz (Windows Phone) Still on a Let's Play.
not sure really, i'm in a bit of a gaming rut right now i think
Going to play lots more Danganronpa. Also going to take it easy and dabble in some Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled and Sly Cooper 1.
I'll Be Going For the Platinum's For Okage the shadow King Arc The lad and Dark Cloud 2
Going for the Platnium in Infamous Second Son almost there ✌🏽
Central air Europe....it is a wonderful thing. Just got back to Nibelheim after Cosmo Canyon w Nanaki. Ps4 version. Reall really enjoying the replay. More Hong Kong Massacre. Starting Gears 4 run w wife to prepare for 5
Trying out the new Casino update in GTAO but it seems my player is too broke to try out any of the casino games. The Arena Wars is fun, it's incredible the number of vehicles available in this game now but it's heartbreaking R* just left SP in the dark.
I'll still be moseying in RDR2, riding and hunting machines in HZD and still on my Odyssey in AC.
Decided to play Witcher 3 again. One day I will finish it, Im also running throughout Midgard in God of war, trying my hand at valkyries. Its not going well 😂😂
Going for the ac odyssey platinum
I'm at work today trying to tye up all loose ends before I go off to menorca for a few weeks of all Inclusive fun. I've dusted off my Vita and charged it ready as it's not been in use since last year. I've only got tonight and tomorrow before we fly out and I don't want to start anything new so probably some crash team racing, soulcalibur 6, wipe out and a bit of black ops will see me through.
FFXIV, as usual, and We Happy Few, which I picked up a few days ago. Actually quite enjoying it. Might fit in some random DBZ Xenoverse 2 as well.
Jumping between a few. GTA5, Yakuza Kiwami, Rocket League, Dead Cells and Valkyria Chronicles.
Oddly, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey has its hooks in me. It is so typical Ubisoft but the world is beautiful and Kassandra is a good character so quite enjoying the open world. Also going to another retro games fair thing tomorrow!
I beat Bloodstained Ritual of the Night and now I’m just doing extra stuff on there. I’ll throw in some Samurai Shodown and maybe some Rise for the Tomb Raider, on PS4. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Smash Bros on Switch.
I'll be playing Final Fantasy XIV as usual, I'm right at the final boss of the new expansion. I also still have a lot more to go with Dragon Quest Builders 2 so I'm going to focus more on that when I'm done.
Bullet storm full clip and horizon chase turbo on the PS4.
Fire emblem heroes on the iPhone.
Just hit the second act in shadow of war but dont know wether to forget it and start horizon zero dawn, got it in the sale but hate splitting games so unsure, im a play till finish kinda guy
Going to be playing PES and New Star Manager. Really enjoying the playing a manager game on consolse again
Classic DOOM, Metroid: Samus Returns, Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War!
I should be able to get the Platinum in CTR NF before the weekend is over. Just need to beat the Adventure Mode on Hard, which is surprisingly easy so far lol.
More fallout 4, I got the goty for 16 quid on amazon, and has the dlc pass in it. The season pass is 40 quid on its own!! A bit more okami too, just reached the frozen north
Still working through Persona 5 and FF XV, the latter isn't particularly grabbing me at the moment but is doing just enough to see if it picks up.
Should also be teaming up with my bro on the Division 2 for the first time in a while to try and prep for the new expeditions coming soon.
My progress in Judgement is only visible via time lapse. Thanks uni!
It’ll be AC: Odyssey dlc (legacy of the last blade), some Destiny 2 and trying out the infamous AC III. Looking forward to some old school Assassins Creed with 3 and Rogue which I picked up in the sale
Mostly Dragon Quest Builders 2 on Ps4 this weekend but also Assassins Creed Odyssey and Horizon Chase Turbo.
On Switch it will be a mixture of Octopath Traveller,Zelda Breath Of The Wild and Graveyard Keeper....oh and Doom!
@SnazzyMonkey87 What are you?
@Oldiebutnoobie Go for it man. SoW is brilliant and it just gets better when you get closer to the end
I just destroyed the missus at table tennis 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I have been smashing Doom 1, it still really holds up. I’ve never played through them all properly before, and haven’t touched number 3. Gunna see if I can knock them all out.
DOOM, DOOM II, DOOM 3 and DOOM, just lots of DOOM
@KratosMD naw, PS4. As for playing them in order, it’s never really a requirement for me to watch or play films/games in order, but even despite that I’d say it’s really of no important to play any of the Doom games in order.
I used to play Alien trilogy and Exhumed a lot more than I did Doom to be honest. But playing this now really takes me back.
@KratosMD I would say they absolutely hold up, and for £3.99 each you can’t really go wrong!
Rapture awaits.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Now I'm not calling anyone a liar, but I'm pretty sure I've died more than twice.
Faia Emburem.
No, but really, FE: Three Houses is the game I've been waiting all year to play. It's superb so far. I almost missed work this morning (!).
They are billions... again... very addictive.. but then I’m a simple gamer...
@Frigate Ya basically those two and Syndicate are the only ones I haven’t played, I’ll pick up Syndicate at some point too
2nd playthrough Trails of Cold Steel. Nearing the end of chapter 5. Way way beyond 200hrs but can t wait to complete and start New Game Plus of Pt. II.
Never would of thought to actually replay such massive games but they are just that good!
@MS7000 Kudos. I gave up on that after about a month
@Oldiebutnoobie horizon zero dawn is sooo much better. I got shadow of war a few weeks back but after a while it just felt like going through the motions. HZD has a fantastic main character, cool story, and the gameplay is incredibly smooth and satisfying. Also the map and setting looks fantastic. Really in another league on every aspect when compared to shadow of war.
What's going on guys, I am fully done with GTA V offline and was able to go back and get the glitched trophy I missed. All that's left are 2 online trophies but they are long ones so I'll be taking my time with them.
I also went back to Dragon's Crown on PS3. I love Vanillaware games and it's a joy to play, if a bit repetitive but I see myself getting the platinum fairly quick.
Have a good weekend everyone.
@Shepherd_Tallon It’s a great game. I started it a few years back but didn’t get too deep into it. It felt a bit repetitive and slightly boring, but I was playing single player offline.
This time, I have been jumping into random parties online, and the game becomes a lot of fun when dungeon crawling together. It really feels like the game was meant for coop, whether online or local.
Odin Sphere is one of the few Vanillaware games on Sony consoles that I have not played, but I definitely plan to get Odin Sphere Leifthrasir in the near future. Muramasa Rebirth is another fantastic game of theirs if you own a Vita.
@BridgeToClarity I really loved Unity! I was lucky to get a copy that was absent of bugs for the most part. I found Paris the coolest map to explore outside of Ancient Greece, and it had some cool ideas like the murder mysteries to solve and the riddles to figure out 🙂 one of my favourite creed games which I know is very controversial! It does have the old awkward control system which is very fiddly for climbing though
I’m now on Chapter 2 of Trails in the Sky Evo which has been brilliant so far. Also plowing through GT Sport’s campaign and a fair bit of Overwatch before my PS Plus subscription runs out next week. Shame I’ll have to wait until September to resubscribe as the new hero’s dropping at some point.
Going for the platinum in Final Fantasy 7.
I'm honestly surprised I haven't gotten it yet.
I've been replaying Deadpool on my PS4. Once I beat it, plan to jump back into L.A. Noire and conquer that as well.
If I actually get time to game this weekend, what with being forced into overtime at work today, visiting family and friends tomorrow and a concert Monday night.. gonna try and play Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Switch, Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One, and either some Spyro Remastered Trilogy or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC on PS4. Probably won’t get much time on any of those... but one can hope I guess.
I'm on a 5 game winning streak in PES2019 and hope to continue that trend. Also very hyped for the demo of pes2020
Just finished Black Ops 3 (awful game) and now moving on to Spyro 3. If i get a chance i may do abit more astrobot, but much depends on tbe weather and if i fancy strapping on the vr headset
Im also playing through Trails of Cold Steel 2 on my Vita in preparation for the 3rd game in the autumn
Finished Dragon Quest Builders 2 with a Platinum Trophy recently. Going to play Diablo 3 coop with a friend again.
Wolfenstein youngblood, Wolfenstein cyberpilot fire emblem three houses. And still days gone. Game is long.
Right now, Killing Floor 2 and Tomb Raider. But I'm also trying to finish Yakuza Kiwami 2. Then I can play The Song of Life and then get Judgment. Hopefully I'll finish all in time before they release the Dragon of Dojima Trilogy.
The Division 1 i got in the sale a while back just need one more trophy kills 10 rouge players in the dark zone but it's so hard because 5 or 6 people go rouge together and soon as you start atacking you get 5 or 6 people firing at you.
There is so much to do though like little quests get so many kills with each gun, collect all the peaces for an outfit, daily and weekly missions and all the dlc is quite good.
I am enjoying the game but looking forward to finishing it and moving on to Red dead 2 and Red read 2 online as my life as a traveling poker player and exploring the wild has yet to begin.
Hyper light drifter on iphone. The analog touchscreen control in this game is really cool, you have a dot in front of the protagonist and the more you move the dot forward using analog touchscreen, the faster he walk/run, it make the game play really well on touch screen. It’s a steal at $5 I think.
Almost threw the towl in with Yakuza kiwami fighting Majima and his men at the batting cages. Got there in the end though!
@Frigate This is my first PES in a long time, really enjoying it. Dont have to spend money to make a good team on My Club. Think ill ditch FIFA next year and keep PES.
