Tennis can be a bit too clean for its own good, and we personally believe that characters like Nick Kyrgios are necessary. The good news is that in AO Tennis 2, you’ll be able to incur your own fines from the authorities, reacting badly to umpire decisions and acting like an ass in press conferences. This will have an impact on how the media, crowd, and your own management team react to you, of course, but who wouldn’t “want to hit” Rafa Nadal, after all?

It looks like developer Big Ant has been paying attention to the NBA 2K and FIFA franchises, as it attempts to depict what life is like as a top tennis star. Don’t expect the production values to match the ambition here, but we enjoy a fun spot of sports fiction, so we’re looking forward to playing this next year.

I honestly don’t think a simulation could truly capture just how badly behaved Kyrgios is.

Kyrgios, the “bad boy” of tennis.

It’s like a boyband having a “bad boy” when you know he couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

The man just reminds me of someone releasing their inner Greta. He tantrums like a child.

Wow, I never realised how much I disliked the guy until I wrote that...

I wanna release my inner Henman. He was a real gent. And yes, it is still Henman Hill not Murray Mound!

guys, just focus on making a proper tennis game on the court. Last AO tennis was deplorable.

It looks really bad, but i like how much effort and passion has gone in the game. You hear how proud they are of the game also nice to see.

It's clearly quite a small development team and it does look a bit rough, but it's still somehow infinitely better than the horror show career mode in WWE 2K20.
