It looks like the wider marketing campaign of Cyberpunk 2077 is really starting to kick into gear after a new advert was debuted during the NBA Finals. With the 19th November 2020 release date attached, the 30-second ad features a live-action Keanu Reeves alongside footage of the game itself. We've also got Billie Eilish's Bad Guy playing over the top of all the action. Check it out above.
It's certainly a short advertisement, but also a sweet one — you can't deny the popularity of actor Keanu Reeves right now. We're sure this high-profile spot will get even more eyeballs on the project as CD Projekt Red yearn for a release on the same level as a Grand Theft Auto. Do you like the advert? Seize the day in the comments below.

Launch is so close, I have literally grown from a teen student to a fully working man in the timespan between the initial concept reveal and now, absolutely insane when you think about it.
Never been so hyped for a game since MGS V and Death Stranding!
Man, if Keanu would want to marry me I would say yes right away, and I'm hetero! I just love this man so much!
I'm wondering what you guys (users and staff) list of PS5 games that you'll get on release day is. For me it's Cyberpunk, Miles Morales, Ratchet, AC Valhalla, Watch Dogs. But Cyberpunk is probably the first game I will try
That's pretty cool, I hope the game has 60 fps day one patch for ps5 😃
Cyberpunk 2077 news? Gutted, I was really hoping for an article on Spider-Man's new face today.
@DonJorginho to be fair that could literally happen in one night if you turned 20 and got a job the same day. To be fair.
@kyleforrester87 How did you know?
Nice advert, trash "music"
Is it just me that really doesn't like the generic ass lookin character on the box art? Is this final?
@frabbit It is the final design, yes.
Is Keanu Reeves actually in the game? Seen him linked with it for ages but not seen him in any of the gameplay vids I've seen - although trying to watch as little as possible. Plan is to get through an ungraded Witcher 3 on PS5 first then pick the full PS5 version of this, hopefully at a reduced cost if lucky enough
I'll wait for the PS5 edition along with Yakuza : Like a Dragon. Too many games and so little time!
@StonyKL yes he is!
@MightyDemon82 Makes absolutely no sense but that gets me more excited about the game. My biggest problem is if this starts getting 10's across the board on review date and I struggle to resist a day 1 purchase which would be stupid given my backlog...
This game is going to be gigantic.
Billie Eilish promoting anything causes me to not want to purchase the product. Shiver me timbers.
@get2sammyb surely you mean breathtaking?
@jsw-8 That too!
sweet I was just thinking I could do with hearing bad guy by billie eilish again
I hope this game is a lot better than The Witcher 3, CDPR doesn't exactly have a big track record of amazing games so the hype on this game is quite confusing to me. If they can pull it off though it'll probably be one of the best games this year.
This game is my Hype right now, It overrides any next gen console or 3000 GPUs. I'm 100% against pre-orders of games and I'm playing this on PC where pre-orders make no sense but I pre-ordered from GOG some time ago. First play though Corpo / Net runner for me.
Would have rather watched it on mute. Or some actual musical talent over the top, not that whiney can't sing woman.
D-Generation X proudly brings to you X-Pac!
@710King CDPR has a great track record and The Witcher was amazing
@vatoelocoe I disagree entirely. Witcher 1 and 2 are below average for their time and Witcher 3 is a mixed bag, ranging from pretty fun to the most boring game I've ever played. If the Witcher 3 was actually about fighting monsters and focused on that it would be really fun but that's like 5% of the game. The vast majority of it is poorly written cutscenes and dialogue that go on forever. When I got to Undvik I was ready to snap the disc in half, during a particularly long and boring cutscene I remember screaming at the TV "Is this f*cking game over yet!" and looked up online how far I was. I wish I had a picture of my face when I saw that this was the halfway point. I stopped playing for a few days and came back to it, eventually 100%ing it because I'm a completionist but I skipped every cutscene and all the dialogue I could. Gwent was a ton of fun and is the only reason the Witcher 3 has been played by me since I beat it.
That's CDPR's entire track record so I will reserve judgement for Cyberpunk until I play it.
@Kidfried When The Party’s Over is my jam
@710King in general, games with long cut scenes and loads of exposition are really boring to me too. Developers need to find better ways to deal with narrative. FROM do a good job with this but it’s a very obtuse style. A middle ground would be nice.
If I want to watch a film I’ll watch a film, if I want to play a game I expect gameplay not boring-ass dialogue.
The Witcher turned me off almost immediately with cutscenes every ten minutes.
However CDPR deserve credit for their achievements and more importantly how they treat their customers.
@Arnna I will concede that their companies business practices are more consumer friendly than the majority of developers out there. I imagine that comes from the companies structure, CD Projekt isn't just a video game publisher, they do all sorts of stuff.
Also on a side note when looking that up I found a quote from the president of the company who said they would never sell it as that would go against their companies philosophy. So I doubt Sony will be buying them anytime soon for those saying that.
@710King they’d be mad to get bought out. To the best of my knowledge they are the biggest independent developer around.
They have almost total creative freedom and aren’t beholden to a master aside from their parent company, who seem to have scruples.
With all the giant conglomerates and monopolies around atm it’s refreshing.
The jury is still out ok whether I’ll like Cyberpunk 2077 but it certainly looks fantastic.
So we are not going to talk about CD projek red,crunch on Cyberpunk?
@AFCC I would say yes then divorce him and take half his money. Mwahahahaaa. Them Bill and Ted dollaz
@AFCC "Man, if Keanu would want to marry me I would say yes right away, and I'm hetero! I just love this man so much!" no, no sir you are definitely NOT hetero w thoughts such as those... 🤦🏽♂️
Ehh, even though Keanu Reeves is an amazing actor and human being, I'm still not really sold on this game. Is it a shooter? A gta style game? Action adventure? RPG?
I honestly have no idea.
@rachetmarvel you wanna get some virtue signalling in, go ahead
@cutthroatslim oh God, please don't kill me for making a joke I am sorry
@AFCC I'm sorry dude I was in a mood 😔 sincerest apologies 🙏🏽
@cutthroatslim bro, all good <3
@AFCC cheers then!
