After months and months of silence which left even us feeling uncharacteristically antsy, Sony has pulled together the PlayStation 5’s marketing campaign right on time, and it’s basically in full-on turbo mode at this point. Example: the platform holder’s trotting out celebrities like Naomi Osaka and Michael B Jordan to share their first thoughts on the format.
In the initial video, tennis superstar – and reigning US Open champion – Naomi Osaka talks a little bit about how PlayStation keeps her company while on tour, before digging into Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Resident Evil Village. This is our best look at Capcom’s new survival horror yet actually, with a ton of new gameplay on show.
Meanwhile, Michael B Jordan also gets to spend a little time in the spandex of Spider-Man, before shooting up a storm in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. We wonder how many of these little advertorials the organisation has in store? Presumably footballer Robert Lewandowski was shooting one when he was snapped holding a DualSense a few weeks ago, for example.

Michael B Jordan has got to be the most attractive man on the planet. 😩
@get2sammyb He can literally do no wrong as far as I can tell.
@get2sammyb Plus he's SWOLE. I do prefer Fassbender personally though.
There's winning the genetics lottery and then there's just literally being carved by a God!
Michael B Jordan is literally a God among men. Not a surprise he plays a man called Adonis. Phwoar. Also, Osaka >>>> Williams and I say that as a tennis fan.
What’s next “Betty White plays Bugsnax”
I was super excited until today. None of the GameStop’s in my area have received any of their PS5 Digital Edition preorders but received all of their disc versions. Super strange since there were less Digitals available than disc. Manager said they have no record of them on the way and have no idea if they will even receive them this week.
Really frustrating since I paid it off already. Don’t even know when I’ll get it.
@jmac1686 Hopefully they arrive in time!
I love how they snuck in some surprisingly extensive RE Village in there.
@SpicyTacos101 Good God I hope so.
@graysoncharles no my store had 5 digital preorders. I got one in first day. What I’m saying is none of the stores received them.
Love Michael B!!!
Resident Evil 8 is surely nearly finished then right? Meaning we can probably expect it in the first half of next year
@SpicyTacos101 I’d love to see that!
He sure does have some fancy gaming snacks beside him.
@SpicyTacos101
That'd be cool.
@get2sammyb prefer Jake Gyllenhaal tbh 😂

1) This is for young people who don’t care about Tflops and have never heard of things like VRR because they are too busy enjoying playing great videogames,
2) Consoles always release without a full feature set and things are patched in later. Haven’t you owned a console the last 20 years!? Lol. All the things coming later are not vitally important, and indeed not important at all for most people.
@SpicyTacos101 After her work on Deadpool advertising I would love that
I miss seeing people’s reactions when playing Resi7 in VR. Her anxiety level would have been through the roof and jump scares hilarious! PSVR 2 can’t come soon enough.
Tons of RE8? barely a minute...
HOOOOOOOOOOOH!!
@Rob_230 For some reason I was sure they'd mentioned a February release window for it... But apparently not, either way it's looking close to finished and it looks goooood!
Cool videos.naomi is cool so is mike.black panther was a awsome movie.ps5 controler looks amazing.word up son
This gives me hope that the new resident evil is on track for a release early next year.
@avividan yea like wtf
@Oz_Momotaro
Is it a lie if it will be able to output 8k when 8k TVs exist in the commercial market? No need to answer, semantics aren’t interesting. But yes, in a perfect world everything would be ready at release.
Actually, scratch that, I could die tomorrow, release the damn thing now and leave the features that 0.00001% will use to be patched in later. I want to play Astro Bot at 4k60fps now.
