Rejoice: DreamsCom 21 has arrived. The second iteration of Dreams' very own convention kicks off today on PlayStation 4, showcasing countless community creations across over 40(!) floors of booths.
Simply boot up the game and enter DreamSurfing, and you'll be presented with DreamsCom at the top of the page. You can either jump right into the experience and wander about, or you can look at the curated page to explore specific playlists of demos and trailers. It sounds as though there's hundreds of things to see and do in this year's in-game event — we'll certainly be giving it a look. The recently announced Mm Originals, Tren and Ancient Dangers: A Bat's Tale, will have booths to check out as well. There's a monorail, for goodness' sake. And you can get a selfie with Megapenguin!
Anyway, the expo is live in-game right now, so get in there and check out all the community-made goodies. As well as all that, Media Molecule will be streaming all things DreamsCom daily on its Twitch channel, so there's plenty to look forward to.
Will you be checking out DreamsCom? Tell us about your favourite booths in the comments section below.

Can you explore the expo in VR?
A fantastic idea. Hopefully there is enough interest to keep this going.
@thefourfoldroot No VR support on DreamsCom, sadly!
Just took a quick spin through a few floors and had a blast. The talent out there in the Dreams community is really amazing, especially for folks like me who would rather experience these creations than make them myself.
@Salt_AU I’m not sure I agree. Dreams is such a better experience on PS5 than PS4 already, it’s probably not worth Mm’s time to make a specific PS5 upgrade. My PS4 Pro used to chug during Art’s Dream, but those and other performance issues are non-existent on the PS5.
Also, what would Mm gain by giving Dreams away? A broader player base won't increase revenue since, thankfully, the game has no micro transactions. Also, as soon as you give it away Dreams will be flooded with garbage levels and lots of wangs. Lots and lots of wangs.
@Amnesiac Think you may have something wrong with your pro. Mine never chugged on Arts dream.
They should 100% have this as a pack in game. What do mm gain? A far bigger player base keeping the game alive. What do Sony gain? Who knows... What do they gain from giving away astro? Maybe it attracts a sale of the hardware that in turn gets someone new into their eco-system. Either way, they're not exactly making loads of money off dreams right now...look at the traction it gets on here...7 comments. Dreams isn't something that's been a huge success for Sony. It's a hard sell. So give it away now and see if it gains rewards.
As for flooded with garbage...it always has been. It's one of its biggest problems. Not helped that the tutorial encourages players to upload a dream (meaning so many 'my creation's'). And sadly weak effort memes get the most likes. So that's not going anywhere. They need a better rating system. Better filters.
@Bleachedsmiles Dreams and Avengers always had my Pro sounding like my sofa was on an airport runway, but thankfully the PS5 has solved that.
I’m still not convinced that Dreams should be free. Astro is a great pack-in game in no small part because of how accessible it is. While I do love Dreams, large parts of it feel a bit like a lab for a college course. This is great for some, but I get the feeling that it’s an instant turn off for many others.
If they could somehow separate the creation suite and make the user generated content available to all through a streamlined UI, that would be interesting. It’s a stale analogy, but then Dreams would truly be like a YouTube for games and those who are really interested in the creation side of things could invest in the whole package.
RIP I missed this year's event, will be sure to attend '22 if there is one.
