The A Quiet Place movie series is being adapted into a new single player horror game due for release next year, it's been confirmed. While platforms haven't been announced, Saber Interactive is at the helm of "an original story and gameplay that captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama" the big-screen franchise is known for. A teaser website is live now, which simply features the logo, release year, and a brief explanation of what the game will be.
This will be Saber Interactive's first title as publisher from an external studio, with development headed up by iLLOGIKA. Creative director Herve Sliwa said: "The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before. We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and to team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future."
More information will be shared later this year, which could suggest a reveal at The Game Awards is on the cards. That is speculation on our part, however. iLLOGIKA is a Canadian team that has helped on Cuphead, and ported Lara Croft GO to various platforms. Its only original title is Subaeria, an action puzzler released on PlayStation 4 in 2018.

Spoopy! 👻
Cool, hope it turns out to be good experience.
This is one of those things where nobody asked for this. Ever.
Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, and Cillian Murphy voice and motion capture pls.
This has the potential to be amazing!
So, the clicker sections of the last of us?
This could be good you know.
I could see it having some potential, especially as a VR game in the Amnesia/Outlast mold.
Going by their track record, I'm not convinced yet. You don't go from mobile to AAA without hiccups. We'll see though.
I want to be excited but I’ll be surprised if it turns out to be a bigger game and not some top down survival game or something just as small.
This could be incredible. Both are fantastic films.
I'd probably want this to have absolutely nothing to do with the movies. That said, a single player experience, involving being quiet and manipulating sound around you, could be absolutely amazing in the right hands
One of the most overhyped films I have ever seen, watched it after so many people told me how amazing it was and all the critics saying amazing the first 20mins was ok after that awful, what a let down i nearly turned it off after about an hour but didn't have much to go to finish so thought I would watch it to the end just in case anything spectacular happened nope if anything it got worse. Saying that it has potential to be a good game I'd say.
I feel like it'll just end up playing similar to alien isolation, which isn't a bad thing. But not as amazing as I picture it in my head lol
If done right this could be very cool, I like the movies and this could translate well into a videogame.
If they make a good game, i'm ok with the idea, because i liked the 2 movies.
I hope they implement fighting also, like Silent hill or Evil Within, and not just dodge/run/hide mechanics.
First movie was an above average horror film and having a decent horror game where you have to make as little sound as possible to survive would be very memorable if done right in an Alien Isolation sort of way.
A Quiet Place 2 is absolutely fantastic. Liked the first, but 2 is a stellar sequel
re skin alien isolation eh, that's what it will be
My thoughts about the game "................................................................"
Sounds like a bargain bin game, will wait until it's on sale for $15 or cheaper.
@Nepp67 then don't buy it when it's out not everything is about you
@Zombiechris Sorry that I like to buy interesting games over movie games bud.
Rule of thumb.
Never buy games based off movies. 99% of the time there garage. Hot steaming pile of garbage! I honestly can't think of one that was good recently with the exception of Alien Isolation as mentioned above.
Great movies. Reserving judgement until I see it.
@Nepp67 can I buy you?
