Anyone who hasn't got on okami definitely should for that price. Brilliant (beautiful) game, and an incredible zelda-like title on playstation well deserving of a sequel
@Rob_230 I was literally coming on to ask this question. I remember people saying it was good when it was released but never heard about it since so I'll pick it up thanks.
Okami is well recommended, I bought this remaster on disc despite owning it already.
RIP Clover Studio.
@The_Moose Okami was/is a masterpiece. Never saw a better dog animation in the PS2 days, unique art style, unique gameplay, wonderful sound. Maybe one day I'll grab this remaster.
Would've liked to have seen a few more games/ devs on the sale invite list! Xeno Crisis a lovely looking Smash TV style shoot-em-up still to have a discount despite being a Sept. 2019 release! Similarly Battle Princess Madelyn a Nov. 2019 (& Dec.2018 US store),release yet together a discount either! 🤔
A few more Arcade Archives titles wouldn't have gone astray either! (Eg: Sunset Riders)
Some nice nostalgia like Turrican Flashback, I wish volume 2 would get a digital release!
Did see Zombies Ate My Neighbours/Ghoul Patrol finally got a PSN release & 30% PS Plus launch discount.
Does Burnout Paradise have that dreadful Origin login requirement?
Would've liked to see MediEvil go on sale prior to Halloween, not immediately afterward, but *shrugs * oh well, better late than never I guess.
On a related note, as this game ever gotten a bigger discount than the current 50%? I feel like it has, but I can't remember when.
And agreed; Okami is excellent.
Did The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut ever get to be playable? I remember hearing it was a bit of a mess at launch but at £5.24, it might be worth a punt?
@Rob_230 one of the few games with a poop attack. 10/10
It’s a pity they stopped the PS2 classic program when they did. So many great PS2 games that aren’t available on PS4.
Wow ToeJam & Earl for 3 quid. That's a bargain
Okami is one of my favourite RPGs ever! It's so beautiful, with such unique mechanics and it's a big game, took me quite some time to complete! I played it on PS3 so I feel like I should give it another go
@FullMetalWesker I bought the game for £18 physical in CEX here, worth it tbh. The only thing is it makes you replay every level a second time (and sometimes figure out little riddles) when you get to the 2nd last level, so be prepared for that.
@sanderson72 yea it's more than playable now,it's amazing I got it physically and it's pretty fun
Is it worth playing the first Dark Cloud, or should I jump straight into 2?
I WILL NOT BUY MORE GAMES THAN I FINISH,
I WILL NOT BUY MORE GAMES THAN I FINISH,
I WILL NOT BUY MORE GAMES THAN I FINISH,
I WILL NOT BUY... ooh! lets buy Okami for the fourth time!
I bought toki for 2€ don't think i will play more than few minutes but its decent price. I wasted more in the arcade version
Btw Warriors is just the PS2 version? Got it on PSP
Reading this makes me long for a Twisted Metal reboot. I've seen the reports that there's one in the works, but these things have a way of not happening sometimes.
Is it me or have some of these games been same sale price or cheaper in other previous sales? And it is always the same games on sale.
Apparently Sony released a console called 'Vita' some years ago? And there are some deals to be had on there too (not that the new vile Store mentions it of course!):
Back In 1995 £3.99
Day Of The Tentacle Remastered £5.99
Foxyland £1.59
Foxyland 2 £1.99
Full Throttle Remastered £5.99
Fullblast £2.49
Garou: Mark Of The Wolves £2.99
Helldivers: Super-Earth Ultimate Edition £9.99
I Am The Hero £3.19
Super Destronaut DX £1.59
The King Of Fighters ’97 Global Match £2.39
The Last Blade 2 £2.39
Xeodrifter £0.97
@Starkei Digimon Cyber Sleuth (And Hackers Memory) not only let you poop attack, but PLAY as poop. 2 kinds (Sukamon and PlatinumSukamon)! If that's your thing.
Every single person should buy Okami if they haven't already played it. it's a delight.
these sales cost me a fortune got a backlog of over 1000 bought of the store thats why my disc backlog is heading the same way lol
@Rob_230
It got a sort of sequel on the DS.
@Starkei see also: Resonance of Fate. You can literally fling dog turds at people (and they have a chance to poison.)
Ok... if you not played Okami, it's time.
Maybe one of the most underrated games ever, seriously.
@sanderson72 nice, and they still sell PSP ports like Persona 2 and 3 for...35€, (P4G is just 9€)
MediEvil at $14.99 is tempting as a late Halloween pickup.
@sanderson72 all of these games are listed in the sale. As PS4 games, because they're cross buy.
Still waiting for a better price on The Alliance Alive. I'm not too keen to pay $20 for a 3DS game.
@Milktastrophe My point is you can't see anything Vita related on the new hideous store front and the only clue you get is if you go into the game's description. Surely a cross buy icon or a Vita filter option like the PS4 Store can do would help?
@sanderson72 Xeodrifter a BARGAIN for £0.97.
The pixelart looks best on Vita/handheld over large TV as well.
@Ryall Yep,the emulation might’ve been lacking in features, but as far as game potential, a big shame! SSX series,Nfs Underground 1/2, Ratchet & Clank series,Sly Raccoon,Maximo 1 & 2, Capcom Classics Collection (Had Super Ghosts'n'Goblins alongside the first two G'n'G games, but sadly missing from Capcom Stadium) just to name a few!
Not to mention the ps1 classics that were playable on ps3 but sadly not carried across to ps4/5!
When I go look at Okami HD it's still full retail.
