One of the most iconic moments in the Uncharted franchise is the cargo plane sequence. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is full of bombastic scenes, but the part in which our hero is left dangling above a desert thousands of feet in the air is emblematic of the series' larger-than-life action. The Uncharted movie takes direct inspiration from it, in fact, with a familiar scene making for a climactic highlight.
We've seen glimpses of this sequence in trailers, but Sony has elected to reveal a full two and a half minutes of the scene. Shown off as part of its CES 2022 press conference, the clip is embedded above if you fancy watching. Obviously, if you want to go into the film fresh, maybe skip it. Without spoiling anything, it's an impressive and suitably frantic action scene that should look amazing on the big screen.
Uncharted debuts in theatres on 18th February. Are you excited to watch it? Tumble into the comments section below.

After watching Tom's excellent performance in Spider-Man (I really felt awful during that scene, you know which) I'm more optimistic about seeing him as a younger Drake than I'm used to.
Looks decent, but I’d rather play the scene than watch it!
Yea still not sold on this, I think the casting is pretty bad tbh. Will probably watch it when it's available to rent but not going to bother going to the cinema for it. Hopefully I'm wrong and will enjoy it, but mark as sully is just a weird one and Tom as drake is just too young for the role imo
I'm probably seeing it since over here you can get a free ticket if you get the legacy of thieves collection.
@Integrity He’s always done those emotional scenes really well. I remember seeing him in the Impossible when he was just a kid and thinking he was going to go far.
Loved the new Spider-man movie 😁
@BritneyfR_ee the new Spider-Man is brilliant. And seeing that certain Netflix Marvel character near the start was a real treat!
The film was so much more enjoyable than the new Matrix. What a load of guff that was. The effects were a step backwardsm and the fight choreography was awful. And how I missed Hugo Weaving because the new Smith had the charisma and menace of a limp lettuce leaf.
I still have reservations about Tom playing Drake - he looks too young - but will keep an open mind. He is great as Spider-Man, and as others have said No way Home is amazing!
@Integrity couldn't agree more. Only disappointment is the fact he wasn't established as a character going forwards. Can only hope he will be. Matrix on the other hand was so bad I contemplated walking out half way through though I'm still yet to ever do that.
Will definitely be seeing this. If this wasn't called Unchartered I'd imagine most comments on here would say this was looking impressive. I wonder if this was called 'Young Indiana Jones' if it would garner as much negativity? Who knows?
@StonyKL I think that's a fair point about Indi. But then again this is meant to be a younger Drake and Sully look at all the fuss people are making.
Interesting stuff going on with those cargo pallets - they're strapped together incredibly far apart (far apart enough for one to fly all the way out of the plane before the next one starts moving) on the plane, but as soon as they're outside the distance between them shrinks to about 2 Tom Hollands. They're playing by their own rules, no one else's!
Looking forward to this. The idea of a Uncharted movie has always appealed to me much more than the actual games. Hopefully it's great!
Who’s playing Elena Fisher… Millie Bobby Brown?
I'm definitely more excited for Uncharted after seeing Holland's great performance in No Way Home.
As for the free ticket offer, I'll be giving that to my High School friend.
