Sifu has been out for over a week now, and for hardcore speedrunners, that's more than enough time to learn the game inside-out. Enter 옹발이 ONGBAL, a YouTube creator who's best known for being an absolute master of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. No stranger to things like perfect parry timings and creative strategies that take maximum advantage of mechanics and environments, ONGBAL has smashed Sifu in just 22 minutes — the current world record.
A couple of things to note, though: ONGBAL's character appears to have a fully upgraded skill tree, and all of the game's shortcuts are used. This is also a true ending run — so if you don't want that spoiled, you probably shouldn't watch the video.
Needless to say, this is a ridiculous achievement. Sifu is not an easy game — far, far from it — but the way ONGBAL utterly destroys the game's toughest opponents is pretty jaw-dropping. In fact, we'd go as far to say that seeing certain bosses crumble like this is hugely satisfying.
Think you could ever attempt something like this in Sifu? Never give up in the comments section below.

😬I want to watch. I was looking forward to a young sifu speedrun. But I also want to experience the game first and for a bit, before watching spoilers, etc. Torn.
Um... wow. But can he do it with a hyper toddler gnawing at his ankles....
Next he will do it blindfolded
Was never going to play this so may actually watch the vid, kinda curious.
Ok I watched it for 2:30, it's kind of brown and bland, how long does a normal game play take? I can see why people might want to die and replay over and over again a game like Returnal but this? I don't see the draw, unless it's just a way to kill time waiting for Elden Ring?
Of course I could do this, I just don't wanna
@rjejr That's the first level. The rest are bursting with colour; a neon soaked club, a pristine white art exhibition, a multilevel office block that gives way to a secret underground temple.
And here I am still stuck on the 2nd level after many hours.
Crazy. Takes a lot of dedication.
I haven't beaten the snow lady yet but it won't be long
These SUPER HUMAN NERDS that can do this ***** drive me nuts!
its like he sees the game in slow motion.
I am stuck on level 2, and he walked through it like nothing!!!!!!!
Damn sounds pretty insane, but I gotta experience the game for myself first lol
Game looks dope, I’m just not a fighting game fan.
This is pretty cool. I'd bet a TAS could break 22 minutes, but anything less probably depends on how deterministic the AI is (I caught maybe a handful of unforced errors, which is already superhuman over this length of play. If the AI is deterministic I could easily see there being strategies to exploit some of the behaviours on display, but if not, I can't see anyone gaining more than a minute on this)
