Pac-Man has been munching his way through little yellow dots and big blue ghosts since the 80s, which you'd think would put him into an early retirement. However, the ever-hungry hero keeps bouncing back, and Bandai Namco is preparing his latest game, Pac-Man Museum+, for release on PlayStation 4.
It's a collection that bundles together 14 games from the character's 40 year history, going all the way back to the beginning and coming up to date with more modern iterations. The games included are as follows:
- Pac-Man
- Super Pac-Man
- Pac & Pal
- Pac-Land
- Pac-Mania
- Pac-Attack
- Pac-In-Time
- Pac-Man Arrangement Arcade ver.
- Pac-Man Arrangement CS ver.
- Pac-Man Championship Edition
- Pac Motos
- Pac'N Roll Remix
- Pac-Man Battle Royale
- Pac-Man 256
Obviously you can enjoy all the above titles as much as you want, but Museum+ goes a step further. Playing these games earns you coins, which you can then use to customise your own arcade with cabinets featuring mini-games, as well as a variety of cosmetics. A jukebox will also let you play your favourite ear-worms from the Pac-Man series.
The collection is now set for release on 27th May 2022, releasing digitally on PS4. Are you excited to jump back into those colourful mazes with Pac-Man Museum+? Tell us which game you'll play first in the comments section below.

I'm looking forward to this blast from the past and day one on GP
@Martsmall is it? I never knew that. I will still buy it on the PS though. Love pacman and Championship edition was an absolute beast of an arcade game.
@themcnoisy yeh day one , I'm quite excited by it , I just need a console I can shove my 10p's in to give it that total nostalgia feeling
And it's two months away but hoping time flys
As someone who ever only played that 'normal' Pac-Man game and never actually knew this many games existed it's a nice surprise 😂
Even more of a surprise that it's day one gp. Its launch price would probably have been beyond me.
Day one for me. Pac Man was one of the first ever video games I ever played as a Toddler on the Atari 2600.
Nice to have the opportunity to play Pac-Man Championship Edition again given it's not been available since the PS3 era! (Own the sequel)
Likewise haven't played Pac Mania since the Amiga! Not a bad little collection if you're a fan!
i think im pac-manned out lol. but i like the idea. if its $20 i might get it just because... im a retro gamer. but i wish we'd get an arcade indie type game where you just run an arcade. people come in, play games, you level up the arcade, expand the size, add new games, maybe even play the games. there have been games like this in the past, one was on xbox 360 years ago and it was pretty good. wish we'd see another game like that here in next gen.
if this pac-man museum was called "namco anniversary + museum" or something and had a ton of other namco arcade games in the mix... i'd really be excited. but just pac-man games? i dunno... ms pac man isnt in there. should be. like an extra game you can buy for the arcade segment of the game or if you unlock X amount of trophies, then mc pacman unlocks. but noooo... they didnt do that!
@Pixelated The Namco Museum often goes on sale for about £4 and features Pac-Man, Galaga and Dig Dug, I think?
There's only so much Pac-Man you can play and most of these aren't as good as the original.
Ms. Pac-Man should be on this.
Provided these aren't console conversions and the price point is decent.
Already have pac-man championship dx 1&2 and 256 so what more would this compilation offer to me?
@Jeevz I already have that also with a separate purchase also, I don't think this is worth a purchase really
I'll buy it for Pac-Man Battle Royal alone. I've been wanting to play that with friends since we got addicted at the arcade long ago.
@huyi Pac-Man Battle Royale!
@sanderson72 they never put full lineups of games in compilations. last good compilations i saw were years ago. on the old first original xbox. capcom collections, volumes 1 and 2. never been a collection like that since.
