A new PlayStation Store weekend sale is live right now, but as the name would suggest, it's not going to stick around for long. These offers are available until midnight on Monday, 27th June 2022. There are some pretty decent deals too, so if you like what you see, jump on the discounts before it's too late.
PS5 exclusives like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are included, which drops its price to £43.39/$39.89. There's also the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for £26.99/$29.99, and Ghostwire: Tokyo is once again half price at £29.99/$29.99.
Then we have Kena: Bridge of Spirits for £21.44/$25.99, GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition is £35.74/$38.99, and Hitman 3 is yours for £24.74/$26.99. Other highlights include Disco Elysium: The Final Cut at £19.79/$23.99 and GRID Legends for £29.99/$26.99.
Naturally, since this is just a PS Store weekend sale, there isn't nearly as much discounted. However, there are some fairly good deals to be had here. For a full list of every PS5, PS4 game included in the PS Store weekend sale, UK users should click through here. US users can use this link. Will you buy anything this weekend? Post your digital haul in the comments below.

No thx, I will be busy enough with Ps+ extra games
Crazy to see R&C ‘on sale’ for £43.39 (digital), when it was £25 (physical) in Tesco last year.
Sony is yet again screwing over their most loyal fans. Imagine how pissed you would be if you bought their exclusives for 70 bucks and only a year and a half later someone else can buy them for 50% off. The day of reckoning is coming..
@Bismarck the price of most things comes down after a year though? You pay the premium price to play it at time of release.
@Bismarck This is how it goes with almost every consumer product - Full price when demand is high, on sale when demand drops. What is there to be angry about?
The day of reckoning is coming? Come on. It's video games, not politics. Relax and have some fun.
@Bismarck Everyone does that lol. In fact the only publisher that rarely ever discounts its games is Nintendo.
@Bismarck I agree with the broad principle at play. Fueled by a lack of competition that would normally exist in a retail environment Sony can change the prices at will to benefit from normal consumer behaviour. You don’t don’t see PlayStation direct selling PS1 consoles at $299 then put on offer for $79. Digital games have no value.the cost to produce 1 is the same as a million. I am surprise some American lawyer has not taken them to town about it. Let’s not forget what Sony said when it increased the upper pricing on new games built to harness the power of PS5. You cannot say I have to charge more as it costs more to produce then the cut price shortly there after. Why not sell the games for $200 on release with a 75% discount a few months down the line to extract the maximum possible revenue from people which what they are doing. Don’t believe me check out the normal price for black ops iii and find that price in a store.
@Bismarck for the billionth time, what are you even on about? I'm genuinely curious if you're just trolling at this point.
@Gloamin looks weird?
I can't even upgrade to the premium, it's as if it doesn't exist for me.
@Bismarck nothing is coming
@BritneyfR_ee the store is terrible buy games from shops much cheaper & you can trade them in
@Gloamin 100 times this, great game and for under £20 it's a steal.
I'll need to do another play through at some point soon... After the glut of games from the new plus
Thanks to Extra and my existing backlog, I don't even need to look at sales anytime soon.
@Bismarck you making a big deal out of nothing🤔.price always go down after a year.even less than that.are you new to video games.or are you just complaning for no reason.come on playa.word up son
@Bismarck Well I’ve bought most of Sony’s new PS5 games at launch for full price and I’m certainly not annoyed in the slightest to see them on sale at later date. Especially when I’ve already enjoyed hundreds of hours of quality content. I really don’t get your problem?!
@Bismarck Imagine consumable media items for sale losing value over time. And here's me thinking each copy of a PS exclusive appreciates in value like a Ming dynasty vase... a day of reckoning for trolls perhaps.
@Gloamin yeah I saw loads of positive reviews for it so I had a look might give it a go hopefully it's on psplus at some point
@Gloamin
Sold - thank you very much.
I just bought it based on your ‘gloamin’ recommendation!!!
Gooooooo figure - I just purchased Ghostwire Tokyo off Amazon YESTERDAY and wake up this morning to find out it’s on sale……….. But the joke’s on you this time Sony!!!! I paid the same price on Amazon yesterday as your sale price today!! HA!!! I can’t begin to tell y’all how many times I’ve gotten screwed over like that in the past tho. I’ve learned my lesson. I neverrrrr pay full price for games anymore unless it’s truly gonna be a day 1 purchase for me along the lines of God Of War, Gotham Knights or Callisto Protocol.
Yeah if I'm buying a game day one I know it's gonna be cheaper down the line... But I want it day one.
Wouldn't say I've been screwed over. If it went half price in the 1st few days yeah...
Your head needs a wobble if you think your being screwed over... Don't like the price? Wait for a drop.
Simple stuff.
@Bismarck and also, I just wanted to add, because it goes without saying, but I'll say it nevertheless, creamy peanutbutter on cold pepperoni pizza is pretty good.
@Bismarck have been and price checked. Vanguard launched November 2021 64.99 is current Sony list price. Dropped in price 5 times with 43.99 the lowest charged. Amazon price 29.99 physical. BOIII (ZC) launched 2015 Sony list price 54.99. Price dropped 10 time in last 12 months. Currently 18. Amazon 19.99. Paying 69 on launch and being happy, no issues there. But I would be no less happy paying 49. Apple don’t want other app stores for a reason, neither do sony. Currently looking to buy Returnal but waiting for another price drop to match the last one.
In the normal world buying directly from the factory that made something is usually cheaper than a shop. If I was the only one to sell something I could charge what I wanted.
Bought Uncharted Legacy of thieves, now my Uncharted collection is complete
Aahh I see the xbox fanboy bitchmarck is at it again complaining about something Sony-related.
@pharos_haven. So which serial number do you want me to provide. PS4 Pro, PS5, Second PS5 or any one or all 6 dualsense joypads. Aahh I see a fanboy/girl bitchmarck is is at it again with anyone who complains about anything Sony related must be an Xbox fanboy.
@Gloamin I’m hoping it comes to PS+ extra, or even GamePass. I know it’s had great reviews, but not sure it’s my cup of tea so would rather try it first.
@solidox Are you Bismark?
@pharos_haven. No. Their original post was without real merit and chumming the comments. The principle of issues with Sony digital pricing raised is fair I think.
Well after doing the math (how much i've spent in the last 12 months on games) compared with the price of extra it works out better for me to drop £90 a year and just play all the premium games included..eventually games that i really want will be included and by the time they are i'll have cleared my rather silly back log of games..i was looking at ps extra from the wrong perspective but now i get it...the ps store has some pretty tempting prices sometimes but the cost of brand new games is way,way too much...if sony want to sell games and have people sign up for extra and premium then they really need to look at their pricing on new games..
Rachet and clank is £15 in Asda. Check out your local one first.
@Northern_munkey It starts…🫣 the narrative of ‘PlayStation players don’t buy games’…
Nah the goal posts will be moved again and suddenly the benefits of subscription services will be accepted by one and all… right?
@Bleachedsmiles 🤣...probably not
How are people actually complaining that prices on video games go down over time?! I can see complaining they don't go down fast enough (it's slowing down), or that digital prices are highway robbery and the anti-competitive price fixing of digital storefronts needs to be looked into at a legislative level to ensure a competitive market economy actually exists in the digital future .
But complaining because prices drop at all!? Do some people vote to raise inflation? $50 a gallon or we riot? lol
You could always.....not buy at launch? Or....just go Nintendo-only. BoTW will still be $69.99 in 2048.
In all seriousness, though, I'm hoping the introduction of Plus Extra/Prem drives down the price of digital as more of these older games lose their sale value due to being on the service. It would be nice if that forced digital pricing down to match retail, because it was getting good in the mid to late PS4 era, but it's become awful in the PS5 era.
@Northern_munkey @Bleachedsmiles LOL...I'm laughing and crying at once.
I'm hoping this is the turning point of when the value of games really starts to change. It's one thing to say "games cost so much to make!", but it's an industry with like 300 new releases a year, and if they want people to play more than 4 of them, valuing them at $70, even $60, even $50 a piece starts to look like a terrible plan.
It was all fine and good when PS wasn't a serious subscription player and fingers could be pointed at MS, but now with the big two getting on board, it's only Nintendo that's the outlier and hopefully pricing across the board starts to reflect that console owners playing a hundred games is normal rather than pricing everything expecting a "10 games lifetime attach rate" is exceptional performance.
@NEStalgia i agree.
