Here’s a neat little touch observed by fans signed up to the new revamped PS Plus tiers: the PS5 will notify you when games that you have in your wishlist are added to PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium. It already does a similar thing with discounts so this makes sense, of course, but it’s a neat touch for members who may not be keeping a close eye on our All PS Plus Games list.
Unfortunately, we still think third-party websites do a better job of tracking deals than the PS Store itself, but if Sony can continue to roll out functionality like this then it could yet catch up. Did you get any notifications for titles in your wishlist, and what were they? Catch up on some content you missed in the comments section below.

Helpful I guess. I do find the wishlist notifications of sales really good. If I pay for the subs though I’d keep abreast myself…
In fact, still not sure why Sony doesn’t just auto add all offerings to our accounts. I imagine some people miss the games accidentally.
Surprisingly consumer friendly for Sony of late.
@thefourfoldroot1 My thoughts exactly. There should just be separate catalogs for PS+ situated next to your library. Should be:
Installed > Purchased Games > PS+ Catalog (PS4/PS5) > PS+ Classic Catalog > PS+ Streaming > Ubisoft+ > EA Play
I found the randomness of when I get discount notifications odd. Sometimes it's before the sale even starts and othertimes it can be the middle of the night and I forgot to turn my phone on silent. Overall a great idea, just needs a bit of better coding.
Woah, what a pro consumer move!!!
The Wishlist is way too small tho :,)
Thats a really nice customer friendly quality of life feature. More of this Sony
Hey thats great man .. I may require it to sign up
I am pretty sure it's already a feature now even for Europe folks. I got a notification for Nick All-Stars this month and we don't have PSPlus Extra or Premium yet
Hope they add a gift option too, as I enjoying forcing coop games on my friends.
Two of my wishlist games where included with PS+, but I didn't get any notifications.
I use the very amazing www.psprices.com and it is very good for notifying of deals, but it went a bit haywire yesterday. It notified me of some of my games being 100% off because free trials. This seems to have been resolved, though.
The ps store is useless!! You can't even preorder games that you can preorder with xbox or nintendo stores. Games with release dates but you still can't buy them on the playstation store!
I like these kinda quality of life features but I really wish Sony would spend more time sorting out the basics of the app. When you type in 'exactly' the name of the game you're searching for and it comes up 27th in the results list, preceded by totally unrelated items, that's pretty poor.
Very nice feature. They're getting your money anyway and high subscriber numbers are more meaningful to them than another few quid on a game sale that needn't have taken place. Not to mention the loss of goodwill when the user discovers they needn't have bought it.
Nothing really tops Deku Deals imo but still a very welcome feature. Nicely done.
Not to be too cynical, but is it really a consumer friendly feature letting people know the game is available on their service so they don’t have to buy it, or is it more advertising for people to get Plus. Saying “if you buy plus you get this game you want for free at the moment!”
That is quite a nice touch.
@thefourfoldroot1 I guess it's because you have to "purchase" them (for £0), and in doing that you agree to the terms and conditions
Is this on the PS5 console itself? I don't recall seeing any notices regarding my wishlist sale items in the past, either via email or on PS4.
@JimbobLink
Maybe, but I’d happily agree to a clause where you pre-accept all terms for all games given on the service. I mean we all just scroll down and agree without reading anyway…
@thefourfoldroot1 I'd do that if the terms and conditions don't change, but these kind of things are often revised and personally I'd want the changes highlighted or summarised before agreeing again. Maybe just me, but financial agreements that you don't have in writing are not worth the paper they're not written on.
Very helpful feature, now if only Sony would finally add folders and themes to PS5!
@Ryany that's a straight lie. I only buy off the ps plus and I own over 600 games lol so yes you can
@SerJosh97 what you chatting about lies? I said yiu can't preorder many fames which is true. Lots of games aren't avaliable until release day. You should be able to preorder them like on the xbox store.
