Voyage is a cinematic adventure game which can be played alone or cooperatively, with a gorgeous pastel aesthetic, and is available now on PS5 and PS4.
In Voyage, you play as two survivors trying to find their way home, in a story that is presented in a wordless manner; there is no written or spoken dialogue, and its central mystery is left to the player's own imagination. There is also no violence, so expect a serene adventure that is more concerned with exploration and puzzle solving.
That sounds like a real Journey kind of setup, so colour us intrigued. Each background is hand-painted, with clear love and care, and is absolute screenshot fodder. Voyage looks like the perfect palate cleansing title, a nice way to break up the more traditional slate of video game fare.
What do you think of Voyage? Are you a fan of these more contemplative video game experiences? Ponder your answer in the comments section below.

Intrigued? Yes. But IMHO, Journey was soooo unique and special (music, and online connectivity for starters), that many games have always fallen short when trying to copy that masterpiece of gaming.
Meh, Journey wasn’t really a game, more of a technical demo of the PS4.
@Mattock1987 Journey was a PS3 game. And it was lovely enough to be worth playing through a few times.
@sentiententity so it was, I stand corrected. It was still a ‘game’ that you could complete in a couple of hours without any thought, or reflexes needed. Which is probably why it was released with the similar ‘games’, Flower and Flow.
@Mattock1987 yeah it's more of an interactive art piece that you stroll a character through. It's my favorite new genre of the modern era. Kind of the opposite of souls-like.
@sentiententity a ‘stroll-like’?
