Arc Raiders, the co-op focused robot-blasting game that was first revealed at The Game Awards 2021, has (rather unsurprisingly) been pushed back into 2023. It was originally scheduled for a 2022 release, but we haven't seen anything from it since the aforementioned Geoff Keighley event.
Embark says that the additional development time will be used to "expand the experience", which is a potentially interesting way of framing things. Maybe the studio's keen on making sure that there's enough meat to the game when it does eventually launch.
Arc Raiders is going to be a free-to-play title, and it looked quite compelling in its debut gameplay trailer. We're sure that a deeper gameplay dive will be heading our way soon, but until that time comes, let us know if Arc Raiders is on your radar in the comments section below.

This game has got me intrigued. It looks like a blend of generation zero and earth defense force. Hopefully there is a trial/demo.
This is like peak over ambitious AAA gaming
-Revealed at the Game Awards
-Free to play shooter
-Live Service
-Went dark immediately after it’s reveal
-Delayed a year
Comical at this point
@PhhhCough It's going to be free-to-play, last we heard!
The aesthetic is really cool but I’d have to see more before even attempting to commit to one of these sorts of games. Not enough time in the world to play more than a few.
Have high hopes for the game even though its a free to play shooter. Forgot it was even coming out this year, I thought it was always 2023 for some reason. Maybe because I didn't hear any new info earlier in this year.
Such a shame, but appreciate any extra polish time. One of my most anticipated games.
Kind of forgot this existed? Aesthetics are on point, not sure about everything else.

Take your time with it.. make it the best it can be upon release, but stick to the F2P please and thanks
I'm still excited for this. I understand how it is, I appreciate them letting us know because they don't have to. I'm still excited and can't wait.
