Asobo Studio has revealed A Plague Tale: Innocence voice actors Charlotte McBurney and Logan Hannan are reprising their roles for next month's sequel, and will be joined by talent who have lent their voices to Bloodborne and the Netflix TV series Heartstopper. McBurney is once again Amicia while Hannan plays the role of younger brother Hugo.
Joining the cast is Kit Connor as Lucas and Lucy Briggs-Owen as Amicia and Hugo's mother Beatrice. Both of these characters were part of the first game and had different voice actors, meaning Edan Hayhurst and Katherine Pageon haven't reprised their roles. Their voices will sound a bit different in A Plague Tale: Requiem as a result.
Briggs-Owen voiced one of the female protagonists in Bloodborne, plays Queen Victoria in Civilization VI, and has also appeared in Dark Souls III. Her credits also include Holby City, Call the Midwife, and Midsomer Murders. Meanwhile, Connor had his breakout role in Netflix TV show Heartstopper, but has also appeared in Rocketman and Ready Player One.
Due to release for PS5 on 18th October 2022, the game has already gone gold and a lengthy gameplay walkthrough can be viewed through the link. Is A Plague Tale: Requiem on your wishlist? Let us know in the comments below.

What a coincidence I've just finished playing through Bloodborne again right now ^__^ can't believe how well this playthrough went killed Ludwig, Maria, Orphan and Lawrence all without dying once I don't know what happened usually it takes me hours and Lawrence I'd never actually beaten before 😅
WAIT.... what voice actors in Bloodborne, there was barely any actually story or talking..... lmfao
At least they got a real gig this time!
Nice.
Beatrice didn't have that many lines in the first game, so it should be fine. A bit sad that the VA for Lucas isn't returning.
really looking forward to this loved plague tale innocence an underrated gem of a game
We are born of the rats.
Made men by the rats.
Undone by the rats.
Fear the hordes of rats.
Which they'd changed hugos voice actor, was happy for the rats to get him so I didn't have to listen to that whiny voice
What about the French VAs? Or is it the same actors? Kinda assumed it wasn't but I only ever played it in French so not sure and there's no mention of it in the article.
Hugo for me was one of the most adorable video game characters. Voice was a big part, so I'm glad.
I'll be the one to say... no crap. Of course it's the same actors since they were already in trailers for the game. Not sure why the developer is treating that as news.
@Athrum Big shame indeed, loved him in the original game.
Hopefully the replacement VA does a good enough job.
