Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection – the remastered compilation of PS4-era Naughty Dog titles Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy – launched on PS5 an eternity ago, or 28th January to be precise. Fans could be forgiven for thinking its previously announced PC port would never arrive, but an Epic Games Store leak appears to have unveiled the long-awaited date: 19th October, 2022.
While the information has since been removed from the aforementioned storefront, it does appear to be legit. Moreover, it mentions a pre-purchase bonus in the form of a Fortnite glider inspired by Sully’s seaplane! Presumably, this will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, and is being used as an incentive to tempt potential purchasers away from Steam. According to the description, the glider will also be available standalone within Fortnite’s Item Shop from 17th November.
We were impressed with Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PS5. “Both Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy remain brilliantly crafted thrill rides, and their blend of cinematic action is still best-in-class,” we wrote in our 9/10 review. “Throw in improved performance on PS5, and you've got a remarkably high quality package that's incredibly easy to recommend.” We imagine the PC version will also come recommended when it arrives.

84 years later...
My favorite part of Uncharted 4 was when Nathan Drake said "Where're we dropping boys?" and the part of Uncharted Lost Legacy when Sally said "It's gliding time".
@get2sammyb Right? I honestly thought the PC version had already released.
@SinfulDestroyer
8 months?
Uncharted 4 was released 2016 so 6 year.
This thieves collection was made for put it on pc.
But as everyone fails to see with this and TLOU remake that if they only did a pc edition and skip ps5, people would be so angry.
@Neverwild Don't bother. Sinful is one of many alts of a major fanboy on here and just posts negative ***** to try and rile people up.
I wish Naughty Dog would patch in gyro controls for the PS5 version. It's included in TLOU Part 1 & 2, so why not Uncharted as well? Makes no sense...
Still a strange choice to put this on PC before the trilogy collection. I can't imagine playing Uncharted 4 with no context from 1-3. Great games though.
Really wonder what took so long, did iron galaxy have developing issues
Without the first 3 this is doa unless certain pc gamers played the 1st 3 prior on ps3/ps4.
@HotGoomba
I am so done with this stupid meme please don't spread it more.
This is like the 4th new date. Just release it already. My Play-Steamdeck is lacking in exclusive Sony games.
Oh yah, that other cash grab from ND....
@PegasusActual93 Agreed, I hate seeing comments sections full of that and not discussions the video or article at all.
@Korgon Personally, I've stopped "playing from the beginning" when it comes to games series. Youtube is where it's at. Life is too short to play a bunch of old games (however good they may be, but more than likely poorly aged) just to play the latest iteration in a franchise (assuming you're not sick of the series after cramming through a bunch of games, and assuming you ever actually finish them all).
@RedRiot193 You really don't have to play the other 3 games to understand what going on in this game... Just like you didn't have to play God of war 1-3 to know what's happening in God of War 2018.
@Floki Uh yes you do. God of war is set up way differently. For new players you're playing from Atreus perspective. For returning players you're playing from kratos perspective. And I still say you should play the others. But gow 2018 is cleverly written. Uncharted 4 is not anywhere remotely treated like that.
Such strange times we live in where PlayStation exclusives are on other platforms, I guess it's similar to back then when sonic was popular on Nintendo consoles
@RedRiot193 Outside of Nathan relationship with his wife and sully, and a couple of nods in his attic. There is nothing in that game that requires you to have experience the other games. I had no issues just into 4 with no prior experience of playing the other 3 at all.
@stinkyx
That's a fair perspective. I'll go ahead and skip entries in series I'm getting into if I don't like them and they are going to take a while to get through. For example like Witcher 1 and 2 before 3. I tried Witcher 2 but couldn't stand it so I just gave up but tried Witcher 3 after seeing how much more polished it looked.
The Uncharted games are pretty breezy and short though and I'm just shocked Sony didn't stick the trilogy collection on PC 1st to at least give folks on there a chance to try them before jumping into 4.
@Korgon you can emulate the first 3 games on pc anyway
@OthmaneAD
That's true which is another reason why I'm surprised Sony hasn't officially released them. It just seems like easy money.
@Floki "Outside of Nathan relationship with his wife and sully, and a couple of nods in his attic" That my guy is a pretty big deal. You know nothing of elena or sully and the hardships that lead nathan to where he is at. Nor why those relationships are so important to him. Nor do you know the reason why nathan is so obssesed with treasure or why him and elena keep having their ups and downs. I feel sorry for you ruining your experience like that. I guess anybody who would do that would try to justify it. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
@RedRiot193 I think you're taking this way too serious. They're video games. Everything's gonna be okay if you don't play the first 3. Uncharted 4 plays fine on its own. As does Lost Legacy.
@SinfulDestroyer yes this specific collection of game + dlc that already existed for years became available in January, so it could be ported to PC. But in no way is this a new release.
@zupertramp "I think you're taking this way too serious. They're video games" Keep this nonsense out of here. Some people are more passionate than you about video games and that's okay.
It's not going to be okay. It's fine to remain ignorant. But if you think that won't affect sales you're delusional. There's literally posts on steam people wanting the first 3 and confused about why they aren't there. And you'll have the constant question being asked "can I play this without the first 3?" The obvious answer is no.
Again if YOU'RE that type of person to do that you would defend that. Either way my point stands. U4 is not cleverly written to let you appreciate it without the first 3. That's like playing last of us 2 without the 1st and not knowing the hardships of joel and ellie.
@RedRiot193 You're telling others how to consume their media. You're even getting salty over it. I can't think of anything more nonsensical.
Every story starts in media res so yeah, it really will be okay even if you play Tlou p2 first.
@zupertramp I'm advising others how not to do something. How is that nonssensical? Talk about salty. People will be asking if they should play u4 first. If they ask the answer is obvious.
" it really will be okay even if you play Tlou p2 first." Your opinion is invalid.
@Floki yeah you really don't need to have played any of the others to enjoy 4, especially as the long lost brother was never even mentioned before. I did play 1 and 2 but not 3 and didn't feel I missed anything from that
Nice try Epic store, I appreciate the free games but they'll have to do better than some tat for Fortnite to get me to buy a game there over the vastly superior Steam
Anybody any idea on Steam release date? Will play through it on desktop first time round but want availability for the deck also.
