Everyone loves customising their favourite cars, right? Well, what if we told you the upcoming Need for Speed Unbound has over 10,000 customisation options in total? From wraps and cutaways to rims, the new arcade racer from Criterion has got it all – and the art department’s gone a little crazy, with custom pizza wheels and a whole host of stylish decals.
Perhaps the coolest part here is that the personalisation doesn’t end with the parts you attach to your car. Due to the title’s outlandish, street art-inspired visual style, you can even add graphical effects, like wings that’ll shoot out of your vehicle when you hit a ramp or graffiti-style smoke that’ll come off your wheels when you burn rubber. This is going to be a lot of fun to faff about with!
And that’s not all, as Legendary Customs promise the most eye-popping mods of all. “Legendary Customs are one-of-a-kind, showcasing silhouette-changing bodykits that dramatically transform a car’s appearance into a one-of-a-kind custom for the ultimate attention seeking ride,” the press release reads. All sounds superb, doesn’t it? The release will hit the starting line on 2nd December, 2022.

Really looks like fun but one thing i want to see more then this and thats a new Burnout. Burnout Paradise was fantastic but i also adored part 2 and its fantastic.
This game has been ticking all the boxes so far, now to know how the driving will be like and if it will have day 1 steering wheel support
Are they all locked behind MTX or actually designed to be unlockable?!
@MattBoothDev with EA, that's always the big concern.
Cool, so if I want to make a character avatar with culturally acceptable rainbow hair, I can do that?
Can I customize it so that there's absolutely no street racing story, characters or cutscenes? Unlikely, I know, which is why I'll be waiting a year or three for a deep discount to see if it's got that classic Criterion driving/drifting physics engine magic (as I frantically mash the X button to skip all the cutscenes).
