Wild Hearts continues to look like a classy action RPG in its latest trailer, which shines a spotlight on the title's 'Karakuri' system. Karakuri are the mechanical platforms that serve all kinds of purposes, both in and out of battle. They can be built quickly by all players, and they should give the game a fairly unique identity.
We got to see the monster-slaying title in action back in October, and we thought that it was shaping up rather well. As such, we've got reasonably high hopes for Wild Hearts, and slick trailers like this only enhance the hype.
Wild Hearts is still set to release on the 17th February for PS5, but are you in on this monstrous adventure? Set up your own Karakuri in the comments section below.

Am I crazy or is there a lot of stuttering/frame skips in some of this footage? I don't even know if that is the right term for it and I am by no means an expert but it looks very jumpy for lack of a better word
@Gloamin Thanks for explaining, I wasn't sure if it had any baring on how the game will perform or if it was just something going on with the promotional footage. I hope its good! Monster Hunter is a bit too deep for me so I am hoping this will be something a bit more accessible
2023 is gonna be a great year for koei tecmo with wild hearts and wo long
I'm still not sure about the build mechanic game element. It just feels out of place to me in this world based on the trailers.
@Logonogo I get very very strong MH Rise vibes from this one here. And Rise is not deep at all, so you can give it a try. Rise is my first MH I ever played and was not overwhelmed at all, really cool game, even for short sessions!
I'd be tempted to buy this day one if I weren't already getting both Hogwarts Legacy and Wanted: Dead in February.
Hopefully it'll be dirt cheap in a year or two.
@Gloamin @mazzel I only have Playstation so I have never played Rise, I did play a good bit of MH World but it was very difficult for me to get into given the density and complexity so I am definitely interested in giving this a shot if its a bit more transparent
@Logonogo lucky you, rise had been announced for playstation!
