Diablo 4 will target an April 2023 release date, according to fresh rumours from XboxEra, which have been backed up by Windows Central. Officially, the action RPG is on track for an entirely vague 2023 launch. Given that the game's closed beta test is currently ongoing, a full release in the first half of next year does make sense.
What's more, we may be in for an official release date announcement at The Game Awards, which takes place on the 8th December. That would give Blizzard roughly five months of room for the title's no doubt robust marketing campaign. Again, it all lines up.
The first half of 2023 is shaping up to be utterly absurd for new games, by the way. It's genuinely one of the most impressive release schedules we've ever seen — or thereabouts. Throw Diablo 4 into the mix and it just gets even more insane.
