Sony has confirmed that it will discontinue the PS Plus Collection on the 9th May, 2023. Just before the launch of the PS5 in 2020, the PS Plus Collection was announced as an incentive for potential PS5 buyers. Basically, it was a selection of highly rated PS4 games that PS Plus subscribers gained instant access to — all of which could be played on PS5.
The PS Plus Collection has been a thing for over two years now, even after Sony expanded PS Plus with the Extra and Premium tiers — but it's being dropped in just a few months.
However, it's important to point out that if you've added any games from the PS Plus Collection to your library, you'll still be able to download and play them even after the collection is taken offline (as long as you're still subscribed). So if you're a PS Plus member, you should claim them before the 9th May.
Here are the PS4 games currently included in the PS Plus Collection:
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Battlefield 1
- Bloodborne
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Days Gone
- Detroit: Become Human
- Fallout 4
- Final Fantasy XV
- God of War
- inFAMOUS: Second Son
- Monster Hunter: World
- Mortal Kombat X
- Ratchet & Clank
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
- The Last Guardian
- The Last of Us Remastered
- Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
- Until Dawn
It's also worth mentioning that many of these games are available through PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. Only three of these titles are not a part of the broader subscription, those being Battlefield I, Call of Duty Black Ops III, and Monster Hunter: World.
All of these upcoming changes have been added to our massive PS Plus guide, which has everything you need to know about the subscription service and which games are available through it:
