Bandai Namco has been going a bit mad with all these Tekken 8 character trailers, but we're certainly not complaining. Each familiar face we've seen so far has been looking good, and that streak continues with Mexican wrestler and Tekken legend, King.
He looks to be a very heavy hitter, as fans might expect, and the devs have gone to town on all the hit effects. We really like the showmanship on display in this trailer; with King grabbing a microphone and hyping up the crowd, the game's leaning more into his wrestler persona. And of course, it's always good to hear his growls and roars are present and correct.

King was never a character I tried to main but always liked him regardless. Hated fighting other players who know how to use him. 😑

Him and Law looked absolutely glorious! The reveal trails IMO have gotten progressively better for the T8 rollout. Just need that release date!
His Tekken 2 theme "Ring a Bell" is a classic in fighting games, and one i easily associate the Tekken franchise with.
@shonenjump86 Same I was never big on his play style but it wouldn't sit well with me if he ever missed an installment of the series.

King was the first character I ever played as in Tekken on the PS1, as my friends just straight in button mashing I spent my time reading the manual and then shocked them with some chain wrestling moves. I've been a fan of that fighting style ever since and I'm looking forward to using the pedigree in the new game
So why can’t King close his mouth? Is it a mask? Been my fave Tekken character (besides Dino) since the beginning.. but I never followed the canon

King in Tekken 3 thru 8 is also the successor of the original King character as well.
