If you haven’t picked up WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros yet, then do it: the game costs £0.79/$0.99 and is absolutely fantastic fun on PS4. It’s also just been named an official Olympic sport, as it’s scheduled to feature in the Olympic eSports Series 2023, hosted by the International Olympic Committee. Other titles featured include Gran Turismo 7 and Just Dance 2023.
Qualification rounds will begin this month, with the finals set to take place at Singapore’s Suntec Centre from 22nd June through 25th June. “We are delighted to be able to contribute to the promotion of baseball through our participation in IOC’s Olympic eSports Series,” said a beaming Konami president, Hideki Hayakawa. You can learn more about how to get involved in the competition on Olympics.com.

The Olympics has eSports?!
Learn something new every day.
I used up my last MyNintendo points for this game, and I have to say they were well spent. Fun little game for the price of a dollar.
Fun gameplay but a bummer you can't at least rename your players.
I always felt the Olympics should have an E-Sports division. Glad to see that finally happening.
@GrandKaijuMaster20 I just did the same. This game was never on my radar but it looks fun and I figured it’s a dollar (or free in this case), why not? I’m not at all Into sports but it looks cheeky and fun, at the very least my son will enjoy it.
I'm sorry, go back: DID YOU SAY JUST DANCE IS AT THE OLYMPICS!?

@Fizza It was announced at the same time as this actually.

@Fizza Well come on, this is the same Olympics that has throwing a metal ball as far as you can and running for a few seconds as events. Even the most terrible of games has more to them than most traditional events.
