Or maybe there’s something else hidden in the game that no one has found yet? Didn’t Corey Balrog say that there’s still a secret in God of War 2018 that no one has discovered?

I could see a MM style game, maybe a prequel to 2018. Please not at 70$ though. Maybe Kratus isn't even in it. So many characters could be playable.

A smaller Atreus spin off like Miles Morales while Cory works on the new IP & the other team works on pre-production for next GOW.

I definitely expect an Atreus spin off. People would get mad if he took over the mainline series from Kratos i reckon. That would free up Santa Monica to move Kratos and the series into a different environment like egypt, south america, japan etc. for the next main title

I'd still like the series to pick up and tie in more threads to the greek mythology too. Feel like there were some seeds in GoW2018 that didnt get completely resolved that i would have liked to see in Ragnorak

@kyleforrester87 mate it’s easy, you’d know it’s him with the suit on as he’d be short and everyone would call him boy. Also the cut scenes without his suit on would clearly show who it is 😂

Naaah, I'd rather have the original Remade with current gen graphics, keep the hack and twirl gameplay of 2 & also all the great, sexy time mini qte's. Plus seeing the hydra battle would be awwwweeeesssooooommme!

Is thus the Atreus fan club or what ? Many here want to play a dlc with him? His stand alone chapters in GOW were the only bad parts of Ragnarok, no way I'm paying money to play more as him,
As for what the voice actor said, could be anything from dlc to some anime style TV show, let's not get to excited just yet

@get2sammyb I find it really difficult to imagine a God of War without Kratos, don't know if Atreus can carry a game in the series.

Way I see it, Miles is another Spider-Man, but Atreus is not a God of War.

I've said this a hundred times already. Never stop making games like this. This game was the reason I bought a PS5. The same goes for all the games I love, Horizon, Assassins Creed, Final Fantasy, God of War, Watchdogs, these are all games that i never want to stop playing. I love the story driven, 3rd person perspective games. The open world and gaining experience to level up and get new moves and weapons, unlocking new things and areas. If they stopped making God of War games, it would be horrible. I understand when people say that companies should stop before it gets old, but that will never matter to me. Same with Marvel or Lord of the Rings, or Harry Potter. Keep bringing out the movies and tv shows. Never stop. I will never get enough of these stories and these characters and the visuals behind them. The ones who are Jaded want things to end, but there are plenty of us who never want the story to end.

I hope it's a VR spin-off. Should make so much sense for Sony to make more VR games from their first party IPs.

Even if there isn't a direct Norse mythos sequel or spin-off, he could show up in a Egypt sequel for all we know.

Sequel or spin-off, I hope they experiment a bit more with the formula. God of War is really long, and Ragnarok is essentially the same game with a new story and it's also really long.

Its like having too much of a really good food. I was satisfied with the first game, and I got way past full with the second game. That's enough for many years.

I mean give me a game when I can play as Atreus, Angrboda and Thrud(Angrboda and Thrud had some awesome looking moves) with Tyr maybe being a mentor or something and that will be awesome.

Also a game with those three would be great in general. Playing through Ragnarok I wanted to play as Angrboda and Thrud at least once because of how awesome their attacks looked.
