After a short delay, Ukrainian developer FrogWares’ partially crowdfunded Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened remake will begin solving its Cthulhu-inspired case from 11th April. Due out on both PS5 and PS4, the release will be available in two permutations: Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition – the latter of which including a side-quests pack, six exclusive outfits, and a digital art book and soundtrack.
For those who don’t know, this game is based on a 2007 PC title of the same name, although it’s been completely rebuilt from the ground up. Set in 1884, the plot takes the titular detective to Louisiana, where he’s forced to contend with an Eldritch horror beyond human comprehension. While the protagonist will have to deal with insanity, he’ll also be solving problems using his trademark logic and deduction.
There’s a release date trailer embedded above, which should give you a better idea of the horrors that await.

another game based on my profile picture... ok, just be better than The Call of Ktulu and The Sinking City.
anyone played the original?
Love these games. Janky as anything but a lot of fun with engaging detective machanics.
@CthulhuFhtagn No but I imagine this will be entirely different anyway as they've basically remade it.
Someone got Holmes to cross the ocean for a crime?
This sounds interesting. Will check it out.
A better Sinking City? Oh yes.
$40 USD huh? Hopefully this will be $20 New digitally in a few years.
I backed this game ages ago, to help support the Ukrainian developers during the unprovoked attack by Russia. I’ve no real interest in the game, but if the money helps them then that’s all I can ask
