PlayStation Showcase, no matter how you felt about it, kicked off this summer's season of annual gaming events, and there are plenty of others to look forward to. Obviously, the main attraction for most will be Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest presentation, which takes place in just over a week on 8th June. While this is likely to focus on larger games, Guerrilla Collective is also making a return, and it's going live the day before.
On 7th June, this showcase will shine a spotlight on upcoming indie games. With PlayStation among the event's key sponsors, this could well be worth a watch if you're interested in what's happening with these smaller titles. A few games have been confirmed for the broadcast, including WrestleQuest, while others will be present at the in-person event the next day, such as Animal Well and Gori: Cuddly Carnage. We'd expect these to show up during the presentation as well, among many others.
In other words, there should be a neat selection of PS5 and PS4 indies during the show, so if you're interested, it could be a nice warm-up before Geoff leads the charge a day later. Will you be tuning into Guerrilla Collective? Tell us in the comments section below.

The game on the left of the artwork looks it's going to have an atmosphere of 70s-80s.
Luv it!
@Tr3mm0r It's WrestleQuest's key art
Excited for wrestlequest.
They just need to make a competent game with lots of old school wrestling promo nonsense, at will be a must play for wrestling fans.
Is Guerilla Collective at all associated with Guerilla Games?
Didn't PlayStation just have have a big indie showcase last week? 😏
@Markatron84 Yes. This is part 2 solidifying their Indie pivot.
Will probably be better than most of the reveals at the Doritos and Dew fest following it.
Didnt they already do this with the showcase
Nice! Long live the indies!
They pretty had only indies at the showcase. They didn't really show anything from them besides the live service shooters. And some VR that will lose support about as bad as a streaming only handheld, which the only plus you wont have to worry with games, just have to have a super internet connection and keep your system at home running 24/7 while mobile gaming, fire hazard, more wear and tear on your PS5, power outage could knock out your plans to game while away, and a tablet battery to boot, so it dies as fast as a PS5 controller. But the best thing they showed was Spiderman 2 as long as they dont kill off Pete like the woke company did to Joel.
@Paultall doom & gloom
@Paultall You mean like how PSVR1 got supporter for years? We can argue about how much, but it was supported over the years and had nice surprises until about the end.
@AK4tywill No the only thing they have in common is their name.
Indies are the space where innovation and creativity thrive. I feel this is were the future of gaming will come from and ill definitely be tuning into this.
@Quintumply Kinda dig the climate. No idea about the game it is
