Fasten your seatbelts — the latest version of Trackmania is heading for PS5 and PS4, and it'll be here before you know it. It launches on 15th May 2023 — just a few days away at the time of writing — and it'll be free-to-play, as it is on other platforms.
Ubisoft announced the date in the above trailer, which also touts the game's 1,000 tracks, the ability to make your own stages, and competitive multiplayer. It's worth noting the game will support cross-play with other platforms as well as cross-progression, so you can play with your buddies regardless of system and take your progress anywhere. Pretty neat!
We're excited to hop into this and see what it has to offer. Are you excited to join the race in Trackmania? Tell us in the comments section below.

Awesome to see this! I love Trackmania Turbo a lot so its great to see the next one finally coming to consoles soon
@LazyLombax Trackmania has never been released on consoles. Trackmania Turbo is casual game which didnt last long. Trackmania Stadium is main game in series and till now only PC got it.
I think there is some sort of subscription if you want to access all of the tracks and features
What is Luna I never heard about this platform please don't tell me it's a block chain platform.
I had to look it up as I was confused. Turbo was a few years ago but 'Trackmania' is a 2020 PC to now 2023 Cloud/Console release. A reboot of Nations a 2008 free to play game and this one is a free to play game with a subscription now because reasons...
Most Trackmania games are for PC very few like the Wii/DS entry went to consoles.
Yeah Turbo is likely cheap at this point but without that ongoing content business model and well a free to play model to make it easily accessible to players clearly Nadeo/Ubisoft said why not.
I wonder if Trials next entry will do the same. Sigh.
I don't know enough about the series but if Turbo was more casual like the other commenter says even though it seems pretty tough and tight in some ways to me even if not compared to Nations being free and tougher as nails of track design and still has I assume reasonable PC audience.
Trackmania on consoles seems… odd… Hope it’s awesome!
I tried to play the previous one but once I started getting past the first few sections (seasons?) the handling was far too sensitive and one mistake meant game over. Not my idea of fun.
