Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here, or at least it feels like it. CD Projekt Red seems to have done what many thought impossible and turned the ambitious RPG from a burning wreck (at launch) into something exemplary. It took nearly three years, mind you, but we're feeling the hype, and Phantom Liberty (which we hailed as Cyberpunk's Blood and Wine) isn't even out yet!
If the comeback story alone or the laundry list of meaningful changes introduced aren't enough to pique your interest, how about a live-action trailer featuring Idris Elba? It certainly got us in the mood to hit the mean streets of Night City, and maybe this time we'll even stay.

Are you playing Cyberpunk 2077 2.0? Are you back on board and anticipating Phantom Liberty? Jack into the comments section below to let us know.

Given his performance in one of the worst films ever released (Netflix earlier this year) I’m afraid he’s now like salt in orange juice for me. Just spoils it.
Anyway it’s great to see a game reinvent itself. Well done to all involved
@lindos what film is this?
@lindos you should watch Hijack on apple, he plays that role really good.
@TabulaRasa Its been nearly 3 years as it launched in 2020.
It feels like such a different game, almost like a sequel, that I keep getting this FFVII Remake feeling of playing a new game but with a familiar story.
My favourite game of the last five years. Never understood the criticism and virement towards it. Always felt like an agenda to me. Can't wait for Phantom!
@EquiinoxGII I know, right?! Name an actor who doesn’t have a stinker under his/her resume.
@AhmadSumadi that's literally it. Even the highest accoladed actors have at least one film that didn't do so well. Tom cruise is a fine example. Some great bangers, but he has a few awful ones.
@lindos Do you mean that Luther film? Because he was great in the TV series.
@thebizniznizbiz I mean CDPR heavily lied about it and it was near unplayable on last gen consoles and even now it ain't great on them. It took until the PS5/Series launch before it was in a good state and its taking until 2.0 nearly 3 years later for it to have basic open world features that GTA 3 nailed back in 2002. Don't get me wrong i love Cyberpunk and CDPR really turned it around but it very much deserved the backlash it got.
@lindos there's no middle ground with mr elba, he's either really good or really bad,I presume some directors know how to reign in his cheesy acting
@thebizniznizbiz I played the native version on ps5 and thought it was great I really enjoyed it,my partner played it on ps4...believe me it deserved everything it got,it was dreadful,should never have been released on last gen systems
The game is fixed. Nice one CDPR, I see what you did there.
