Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is only a week away from launch on PS5 and PS4 — that's certainly crept up on us. The platform fighter, fundamentally similar to Super Smash Bros., is looking like a decent follow-up to the first game, which was a surprise hit. Today, publisher GameMill Entertainment has released a new trailer, focusing on the game's roguelike single-player mode.
Yes, in addition to local and online multiplayer — the main attraction for many — the sequel will come packaged with a roguelike story campaign. Vlad Plasmius is causing havoc across the Nickelodeon-verse, and it's up to your chosen hero to put a stop to it. With random missions spread across varying paths to the end, the mode also has you unlocking power-ups and more. It sounds like a neat addition that should make the game more replayable.
There are other solo modes — a more traditional arcade mode is included, as are a handful of minigames and a boss rush mode.
All-Star Brawl 2 is set to feature 25 playable characters at launch on 7th November, with four more fighters coming as part of the first season pass. Will you be checking this out? Let us know in the comments section below.

I don’t think this will perform well at all imo. They should not have removed characters.
I'm really looking forward to this! The first one was fun, if not a little odd because there were no voices. I'm about to wreck with Danny Phantom!
Really reminds me of Melee and Brawl's singleplayer content but roguelike. Really cool!
@Shad361 every single fighting game removes characters, people just have too high expectations from Smash Ultimate.
@Deoxyr1bose There was really nothing stopping them from doing what smash ultimate did though. Did this game really need to release this fast? Why is only 2/4th of the ninja turtles playable?
Looks to me like nick told them to put out a game and they will probably put out another game in another 2 years. This game looks like a stop gap honestly.
Bruh where tf is TIMMY TURNER?! The one character I want
