A physical 'Ultimate Edition' of Cyberpunk 2077 will reportedly release in just a few weeks, on the 5th December. That's according to a fresh leak that's doing the rounds on social media (as per Cheap Ass Gamer). Based on the leak, it'll be priced at $60.
During an investors call back in October, CD Projekt Red confirmed that the open world RPG would be getting some kind of complete edition — and it was suggested that its launch wouldn't be too far off.
Obviously, it's assumed that this Ultimate Edition will bundle Phantom Liberty — the title's only expansion, which released in September — with the base game. However, it's completely unknown whether everything (including the base game's major updates) will be on-disc, on whether buyers will simply be given a code for the additional adventure. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm interested in picking up this edition, but I'll wait for the price to come down.
Best game this gen, in my opinion.
will the DLC be on the disc or will it be a code ?
because if its a code then this disc edition is pointless
Can’t wait to add this to my library. Have been holding off buying the dlc for this
@Texan_Survivor the Witcher 3 goty was all on disc so hopefully this should be too
Hoping for a new trophy set like they did with Witcher. I may double dip!
@Jayslow Me too my friend, having already got the plat this would give me a good reason/excuse to start over again as I haven't bothered with the DLC, such a good game IMO and an enjoyable plat to boot.
I might consider picking this up when PS5s go on sale around the holidays if it will actually happen. Would be a great game to play for the first time on the intended console!
Probably not. There are what? 2 more expansions planned? We also don't have confirmation that all content is on the disc either. That's the deal breaker if it isn't. I'm also seriously considering just waiting for the disc version on PlayStation 6, remastered with all the cool ray tracing tech they've messed with in the last year.
As far as I'm concerned the game is incomplete. Calling this an ultimate edition based on Witcher 3's history is kind of a joke. Let's wait for the Complete Cyber Edition or what ever stupid thing they call it.
@NotSoCryptic CDPR has long said Phantom Liberty is the only DLC they will release for CP2077. So this will be the complete edition. They have moved on to the next full game.
Witcher 3 is one of my all time favorite games, so I am not a CDPR hater. But it has to be said: Those of us who wanted to play this game at launch got pretty messed up, didn’t we?
Not only is it now (apparently) a much better game overall (and now with a complete edition) , but the version we got was so busted it got removed from the PS Store. Something I have never seen before for a major game.
I am glad that the game is better now, and I did finish the base game (which I thought was pretty mediocre). But with all the hype around Phantom Liberty (and again, good for them for continuing to work on it), I just want to say that CDPR should have done better by the fans excited enough about their new IP to play it at launch.
@Texan_Survivor Whats the use of a edition like that if you have to download it all anyway. If its all downloand wait and buy it with a discount.
Hell yeah. Day one purchase for me. Devs are leaving money on the table not making physical editions. Lots of sales in regions outside the US are primarily physical
I don’t want the same trophy list. I want an overhauled one tailored to the new updates and DLC. I already platinum’ed it on PS5 and want to play the game fresh with all the new stuff.
Finally!? This is what I have been holding out for! Will definitely be picking this up! Hopefully they release it with a sweet steelbook to go with it.
We think we got it right, finally. Can we get another few twenty dollar bills from you??
I’ll probably only play this game if it’s under £10 or on Plus.
I’m still bitter about the mess they sold me on PS4.
@Jayslow I think waiting for the ps6 version might be the best idea lol
You can get it on PS4 with a free upgrade for £14, so...?
if only it has what's needed to preserve the game in its complete and finalized state on a physical driver.
