Tekken 8 was released on PS5 on Friday, the 26th of January, and Bandai Namco must have known it had a winner on its hands. The developer celebrated the latest entry in the long-running fighting series in a suitably epic fashion, drawing eyes from all over the world to the skies above London.
The Bandai Namco UK account posted the below video to Twitter, showing an impressive drone-powered light show that took place above London's Tower Bridge, a depiction of a duelling duo and the game's logo. These kinds of aerial advertisements will become increasingly more impressive and commonplace, with our modern societies looking to be on track to becoming truly Cyberpunk by 2077. Last year, residents were treated to a particularly futuristic display marking The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
In other Tekken 8 news, thirsty Final Fantasy fans want the Remake/Rebirth iteration of Tifa included in the game, so much so that director Katsuhiro Harada had to throw ice on the idea, asking the most ardent to chill out a bit.
