Visions of Mana, the brand new Mana title that was announced at The Game Awards last year, is targeting a summer release on PS5 and PS4. Previously, the action RPG had a very vague '2024' window, so this at least narrows things down somewhat.
We're yet to see a whole lot of the project, but you can find glimpses of gameplay in a new developer diary (above) that was shown as part of the latest Xbox broadcast. It looks pretty good, almost like an evolution of the Trials of Mana remake on PS4.

It looks fantastic. Still hope the PS4 isn't holding it back.
I'd like to see it on my Switch
Will there be different playable characters. I haven’t play any of the mana games
This looks really cool. I just dont know when I'd play it with all the JRPGs coming out.
Day 1. No questions asked. Thank you very much.
It looks great and was a nice addition to the Xbox showcase.
Indiana Jones though. Wow!
@__jamiie were you impressed with the showcase? I wasn't blown away by anything but also didn't come away feeling like anything was terrible either. Strange to have Indiana Jones in first person with momentary bits in third. It did at least look good graphically.
@CreepingShadow I'd been hearing lots of rumours that it was going to take a cel-shaded approach so as soon as I saw the actual graphics I immediately cheered up. And whilst I wouldn't have picked first person myself, I think it looked great and still very Indiana Jones. If they had gone with third person it would have instantly been up against/compared to Uncharted (my favourite series of games ever) and the new Tomb Raider games. Unfairly considering how much the IJ film series directly inspired both.
At least being first person it has a chance to breathe and win or lose based on its own merits.
I'm also a huge fan of MachineGames previous work so I think they can be trusted with delivering quality in first person.

Couldn't agree more well said. I thought avowed looks nice but the combat looked off to me. probably something I'd need to get in the hand before being to critical but that's most things I suppose.
