We're not betting on Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess to become one of Capcom's key properties, but the game continues to look pretty good in this new gameplay trailer. As previously reported, this is something of an action-strategy hybrid, in which you navigate intricate maps and deal with demonic threats as they attempt to overrun your position.
There's definitely a bit of that Capcom magic on display — especially when the action kicks in — but what do you make of Kunitsu-Gami? Will you be keeping an eye out ahead of its release later this year? Embrace the goddess in the comments section below.

I dunno if it'll be good, but this definitely looks unique and interesting!
I wish this was releasing on PSPlus on Day 1 as it's already announced for GamePass.
So GamePass it is.
I'm getting exoprimal vibes
@Player_1_Ready why would you want to NOT pay full price for something that captures your attention? lol
@Americansamurai1 that's actually mean
Capcom launching this game on GamePass day 1 tells you everything you need to know about this game.
This looks mad. It reminds me of those crazy Konami games on the super Nintendo. I think they were called Goeman or something like that but with a hint of ninja gaiden thrown in. Not sure about this but it does look interesting to say the least.
@gymratAmarillo hopefully I'm wrong, but giving some red flags, but who knows.
I can't say I'm impressed and tbh I can see why it's launching day one into gamepass, same happened with Exoprimal as they are games Capcom aren't confident enough they will get enough attention. But just like with Exoprimal I will wait for the reviews first to see if this game is worth picking up.
It's great that is is coming to Gamepass, they will get players in like myself who are on the fence and they already have their pay-out so don't need to worry about the game being loss making which ensures the creative vision is more flexible. Most PS5 exclusive players have a half decent PC that they could get Gamepass on to give this a shot.
As others stated, giving it D1 on Gamepass does imply they aren't expecting big sales, similar to Wo Long, but then again we know GP isn't growing sub numbers that much, so not bringing decent games like this would surely mean a steady decline in subs.
I was interested but as a highly stylised hack and slash/RPG. Just not into the tactics side to this game which is a shame. Hopefully it still produces the goods for those still looking forward to this though.
This looks really interesting. I played my first tactics game 2 years ago and ended up really enjoying it,, so I think I will like this
@gymratAmarillo Why would I want to play it on GamePass? because unlike PSPlus, Xbox is giving me the option to enjoy it for a fraction of the price while you might have to pay full price for it.
Capcom is getting payed handsomely by Microsoft for GamePass users, so I'm guessing those buying on other platforms should really be concerned on helping the developer at full price.
The world is full of options...some better than others as you can see.
I don’t think this is for me, it looks appealing but tactics games like this really don’t keep my interest enough to want to fully learn the mechanics.
Woah, this is gorgeous! It's very different, of course, but the colors and stylization remind me of Okami.
It looks absolutely gorgeous, but I think I'd be more interested in it if it was more of a straight up action game.
The tower defense/strategy portion of it isn't that appealing to me.
@UltimateOtaku91 exoprimal was pretty good once it got going d f had a lot of fun with my friends on it
This looks super interesting and unique, like a mix of defense sim and action RPG. Pikmin X Devil May Cry. And the art direction is amazing. That creature design - wow! Definitely has my attention. Looking forward to seeing reviewers thoughts on it when it releases, but I’m excited.
Very forgettable game title. They need to change that. It does look intriguing.
This gives me Okami vibes for some reason
