Ubisoft's upcoming Star Wars Outlaws connects to the larger galaxy far, far away in some intriguing ways, one in particular. Remember Emilia Clarke's enigmatic character Qi'ra in the standalone Solo: A Star Wars Story? Considering how that movie ended, it should come as little surprise that the character has been confirmed to return in Outlaws.
Word comes to us by way of Game Informer, which recently featured Outlaws on the cover of the latest edition of its monthly print magazine. While it is unknown exactly what role the character will play, if we had to guess, we'd put money on Qi'ra still being a mover-and-shaker, and a force to be reckoned with.
Star Wars Outlaws takes place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, so the character will have aged accordingly, and GI's Brian Shea confirmed Clarke herself will not be returning to the role. A screenshot from GI (via ScreenTime) gives us a glimpse of the character in-game.
Did you think we had seen the last of Lady Qi'ra? Can you believe we never got a follow-up on that twist ending? Let us know in the comments section below.

Shame she isn’t reprising her role. Really looking forward to this game.
Just did a search to find out about the preorders, seems to be a lot of noise about the community manager.
I preordered the Ultimate Edition on the PlayStation Store. I can’t wait. It looks amazing.
@SoulChimera The chuds are getting bolder, this site has remained awfully calm considering the waves of sheer unbridled hate being levelled at journos and community managers. Quite impressive actually how the industry’s being tanked by execs yet ‘gamers’ decide that it’s the fault of The Woke and go on the offensive.
@nessisonett lol. Tell me about it. Seems misery loves company.
Jeez, what's the point of having that character without Emilia. Might as well just create new characters
@Icey664 Agreed. It's weird to pick a character from one of the worst movies of the franchise and not even have the actress.
Emilia Clarke is probably way too expensive. I'd rather they spend that money on polishing the game.
This has the potential to be an amazing game for me, need to keep my expectations in check a bit
As long as she doesn’t attempt to sing
She's too pretty to be in a video game.
Interesting to see how this fit into the larger Star Wars Universe canon… Cause these Star Wars games are supposed to canon.
@AverageGamer I believe it will be set before or during the War of the Bounty Hunters storyline. It was there that Crimson Dawn and Qira returned in Canon, and it's a great comic book event!!

Disney bringing in a new era of small galaxy syndrome.
I understand Emilia not reprising the role here, sometimes schedules doesn't align. It happened before. Hope the voice actress does a good job!!
