Helldivers 2 director and Arrowhead Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt is reportedly doing what he can to get the game fully relisted on PC. Following the whole PSN kerfuffle last week, in which it was revealed that players would soon need a PSN account in order to play, Sony and Valve — the company that owns Steam — went ahead and delisted the co-op shooter in 170 countries and territories where PSN isn't available.
Despite backtracking on the requirement just days after the news broke — thanks to a frankly overwhelming backlash from PC players — the decision to delist Helldivers 2 in those 170 countries and territories has not been reversed.
On the official Helldivers 2 Discord (as reported by Games Radar), Pilestedt has said that he's "speaking to our partners at PlayStation and Valve and pushing for [the delisting] to be undone", and that he intends to keep pushing until the game's "available everywhere". Obviously, we'll have to wait and see whether the two companies budge, but fans are still showing their appreciation for the Arrowhead boss and his efforts.
